Wrong information. You mentioned that this is a 1986 film. Where as
Rajendra Prasad sings Rose Rose Rose Roja puvva song in this movie, which
actually is from Dr. Rajashekhar's Allari Priyudu which released in 1993.
Also, Brahmanandam in this movie, talks about, Suresh Productions' Taj
Mahal movie, which is released in 1995.
Doctor Who Theme 1996 (Extended Version)
I came to possess the soundtrack for the 1996 Doctor Who TV Movie. There was no long version of this, so I mixed together the two versions on the soundtrack ...
4 beats over and over very quickly, the heart beat of a timelord
1234 1234 1234 1234 1234 1234, only ever started the sound after the
master, who has the sound of drums which is the heart beat of a timelord,
was introduced to dw, do I smell a hidden reason behind the beat of the
theme song :3
+SlapTheFish Yes, I talk about it a bit in the Season 26 Disambiguation, as the DVD release of Survival includes all of Anthony Ainley's scenes as The Master in the bonus material.
+Gritnom Yep! Lots of Doctor Who alumni in that one. I already went far beyond the scope of what this video was meant to be by touching on the other specials. It was meant to be just a general sense of what was coming out during the Wilderness Years. I might do a video about specific ones like The Airzone Solution another time.
You say that about being a teenage fan now, but it's weird for us fans of
classic. What usually ends up happening is they get excited when they find
out I like Doctor Who, but quickly realize we can't talk much about it
because I'm throwing obscure classic stories at them in conversation. If
you were a teenager now, you'd be going down the halls with a big sign that
says "WATCH CLASSIC WHO". It's still practically the outcast life.
+Octo Hehehe....well that is sadly true in a lot of cases. However, I've seen a lot of younger fans embrace the Classic series as well! Most having been introduced to it with the new series, of course, but respecting and exploring the originals to get more of the history of the show.
Someone's probably mentioned it already, but just in case: The book "The
Nth Doctor" by Jean-Marc Lofficier reveals that the reason why the Daleks
were holding The Master on trial was because - according to an early draft
of the film script - he had attempted to take over Gallifrey with a fleet
of Daleks that were modified to be subservient to him. The Daleks, being
the Daleks and all, naturally weren't going to put up with any of that crap
and considered his actions a major crime against their race. This probably
would've been explored, had an ongoing series been approved back then, but
alas...
+Impulse Kid Entertainment Ah-ha! That makes more sense. How did I know that would have been addressed somewhere at some point...lol. And nope, you're actually the only one to mention it so far! :)
Are there any signs the Doctor Who comics before DWM (1st-4th Doctor) will
be released in any easy access way? (Graphic Novels like Panini, website
where they are listed, etc.).
+Wheelnshifter4444 Oh boy, you don't know what you're missing by passing up the audio adventures... The ones I've heard are fantastic, extremely well done. And if you're an 8th Doctor fan, his audio adventures actually ARE canon (and they're superb, I've listened to quite a few of them).
I agree, I really love how the most attention was given to the 8th Doctor, he really deserved it. I honestly consider them canon, as Grace has appeared in them multiple times and for other reasons. I want to collect the comics. And honestly, I'm not that intrigued by the audio adventures.
+Wheelnshifter4444 I really enjoy all the "Stripped for Action" featurettes on the DVDs that cover each Doctor's comics. I'd love a compilation of the Third Doctor ones especially, those look fantastic.
+Wheelnshifter4444 There was a series of magazine sized comics published a number of years ago called "Doctor Who Classic Comics" that reprinted the majority of them. I think they did around 25-30 issues, I've got a couple of them. Other than that, I'm not aware of anything available or in the works. I'd LOVE some definitive compilations of all those!
