Originally it was meant to be a 12/Clara vid, but somehow it gravitated towards the Master, and I'm not even sorry ehehe. In short, this is a story of a childhood ...
Awesome video. Really enjoyed the use of both Simm and Gomez, and 10 and
12. While Simm is my favorite Master, I have nothing against Missy, and
she's rather grown on me, actually. Same thing has happened with 12. While
I will always think 10 and Simm when I hear Doctor or Master, I think 12
and Missy have really become phenomenal characters themselves, and have
their own dynamic. All that aside, I've never seen the Master, especially
Simm's Master, as a villain. While he/she definitely isn't a good guy, I
tend to categorize the character as a victim, both of his/her own insanity,
as well as of the Time Lord interference that caused it. But, I still
believe the Master wants to be friends, and that it's possible for the
Doctor to save the Master, and maybe even fix him/her. After all, who can
forget the looks on Simm's Master's face in the End of Time, both when the
Doctor asks him to come and travel with him, and when he thinks the Doctor
might shoot him.
+ParanoidOwletLol. Thank you and you're welcome. Yeah, I think the premiere did leave a lot of unanswered questions, but hopefully part 2 will clear most of them up. As for the WTF moments, I actually kind of liked most of them, but I'm interested to see how the Doctor fixes the mess he's got himself into. Fingers crossed that the Master/Missy becomes a companion, but I suppose that might be asking too much.
+Anthony Austin thank you for your comment:) and I agree with everything you said. the season premiere also seems to agree with everything you said...although I didn't like it much tbh: too many unanswered questions and a couple of serious 'wtf's. but it's probably just me.
Ik it was that episode and the 2 others which ithink were the best in the series and that: The master had returned!" Da da dum... da da dum... da da dum... da da dum...
+the waffle crafter It is a track called "Yana" but yes, it's a variation of "All the strange strange creatures"The track is used when The Master played by Derek Jacobi open the watch and regenerate into The Master played by John Simm in "Utopia".
The Master & The Doctor: One of them is Going Down!
The Master tells the Doctor, one of them is going down!
Wouldn't it be weird if the Doctor ran into an earlier version of the
Master. The version he meets as the Third Doctor was I think suppose to be
the 13th Master. The Master has said he had met later versions of the
Doctor at the Sixth trail. What if the Twelfth Doctor met say the 3rd
Master? A Master that had not yet tried to destroy Earth with a UNIT allied
Third Doctor exiled to Earth on it. The Time Lords are gone, but time is a
funny thing. See the Valeyard who the Master knows.
@maggintons Hmm to be a kill joy or not to be? Because of the episode "The
end of time" moffit pretty much made it imposible to bring gallifrey.
timelords, and the master back due to the fact that they are now locked
with in the timeline of the 11th doctor dying. But then again Moffit has
mslaughter the lore and rules of doctor who since he has taken over so
whats stopping him from doing it again. Obviously he will break the rule of
13 regeneration cycles
Still don't get why Simm didn't just regenerate when he got shot by his
wife. Since he regenerated from that old man version of him into the Simm
version, he most likely had a whole new set of regenerations he could go
through, since he had already used up all his regenerations in the classic
series before he was executed by the Daleks one would assume him being able
to regenerate again would be because he has a whole new set of them.
Does anyone think of when the leader of the Daleks (not Davros) spoke of
the Doctor taking ordinary people and fashioning them into weapons, willing
to sacrifice themselves for him while looking at the scene with the Master
taking down the Time Lords. The Doctor even got saved by his arch-rival
even though it cost his life. Or so we assume.
quiet simple because he would of been kept by the doctor but he always had
a back up plan which saw him come back where he could start again taking
over the earth but when he returned through the ring his wife used
something that made his body not be able to survive that long but the main
point is he did it too trick the doctor
I'm glad I'm not teh only one who heard this song and thought of Doctor
Who, the Master and the Doctor and these episodes. I heard this song for
the first time today and immedietly thought of a fanfid between them,
looked it up, and found this :D Woot! You did a great job :)
well before the series reboot in 2005 the master was "fully" killed off
twice.... and then a third with the end of series 3 and again with the end
of time special.... so lets just say I'll believe he's dead when the show
ends and he has not made another appearance.
@IACSC i dunno ...but some writer will find a way ...eventually......maybe
the timeloards clone him and send him after the
doctor.....somehow...depends who becomes the new timeloard leader....maybe
the master himself could become leader
@maggintons He is brilliant, but the end he had in 10ths final story was
such a fantastic ending for him, makes so much sense and completes a
decades-long character arc so well, I don't know if I'd want him back.
This is really intense! Well done!!! Can't imagine another Master being so
good....but have a few people in my mind that MIGHT work....time will tell
use what 'they' choose ;-) Great video, m'LAdy !
MAybe its nothing or maybe its something. In the Episode A good Man goes to
war *Spoilers* WHen Rory knocks on Amys door, he knocks four times EXACTLY
LIKE THE MASTERS DRUMS! Btw I love this video
0:27 "YOUR INSANE!" Master: "yeah!" *thumbs up* awesome amv david tennant
will be missed as the doctor and the master well is just kick ass and will
find away back as always
Does anyone think that the time lords will escape from the time lock and
become the doctor's greatest villains in an end of a series or at the end
of the 13th doctors life.
Doctor Who - Last of the Time Lords - The Master dies
This is for entertainment purposes only. All rights go to the BBC.
This scene is amazing, its hilarious how he is dancing but you can see The
Master's insanity really coming across and lol Lucy's face after he kisses
her lol. Its really well directed love "Last of the Time Lords." My
favorite New-Who Series Finale :)
Never seen a single episode of this series (I honestly don't know where I'd
begin) but I've been a Scissor Sisters fan for years and Ta-Da is one of my
favorite albums ever, so of corse I love this scene, especially the fact
that he says "Playing track 3," since it's actually track 3 on the album
this song is from.
+Robogabriel All of the new series is on Netflix instant watch. "Season 1" starts you with the "9th" doctor. You can watch some older episodes on netflix as well with the original doctors, but if you want modern camp instead of classic camp start there :) And as a Scissor Sisters fan myself hearing this show up in the series just made my day
I can genuinely imagine a scene like this in some sort of Batman thing,
with Joker singing and dancing along, pushing an incapacitated Batman in a
wheelchair
