hello. why do you pre-heat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius at the beginning, if you are putting the banana-butter-sugar mix into the fridge for 2 hours? is it important for the cake for the oven to be hot, and once you put the cake in you turn it up to180 or is it a blooper while recording this? I'm asking because the other time I did this cake it felt a little bit raw in the middle, I don't want to screw it up again. loved it, though, my absolute favorite cake ever.

+Emma Lavinia Preheat your oven at 180 degrees just to be sure.. and insert a toothpick into the centre of the bread when baking. When it comes out dry and clean, remove your cake from oven.

I made this for Christmas but I wanted to make a vegan version so I made it with vegan butter and the eggs replaced with mashed bananas. It taste awesome. I made this for friends and family. Thanks so much for the awesome recipe. Will be making more of these in future.

I have made this previously and it is delicious. You got my mouth watering, so I will do your recipe today. It is okay to substitute self raising flour with addition of yeast, right? Is it okay if the water goes in with the yeast (I see the dough is very thick)?

Interesting, I've never cooked the banana before making the banana bread. Try adding a little granola mix into the mix before baking. The oats really add a nice favor and texture.
