Completely concur regarding the new cars. I work in a dealership and get asked all the time from the sales dept when I am buying a new car. I never would. I like the look and feel of older vehicles. They have a thing called lane control where if you put your signal on and start to change lanes the car will check to see if someone is in the blind spot and actually steer the car back into the lane you were in. Nobody is going to know how to drive.

Awkward- racer(Chris Harris) talking to dork(Mike). Chris Harris' argument is mechanical vs electrical. Only way to settle is to wait and see how electric evolves. As of now mechanical > electrical. Weight of new generation vehicles doesn't help either.

If everyone drove a manual, the world would be a much safer place. It's harder to operate a phone, idiot's won't be driving, and more people would care about cars I think

+Randy Barley insurance rates are more for manuals which doesn't indicate safer. That may be so because of the types of people who drive manual or the cost and likelihood of replacing a manual. Lots of other good reasons to drive manuals though.

I'm 45, live in Italy and my everyday drive is a manual 2doors e30 320i... that's the car they will bury me with (who needs new cars???)... and I'm absolutely with you guys!!!

+melliloreHe sounds hard to miss & fun like yourself :p. If I ever spot him I will give him a friendly wave :).Years ago I did have a e36 318is then drove some e46 & e90 after that. They are all great cars but I feel like the increasing refinement in newer models incrementally made them more detached, I always missed the more direct feeling of the e36... The e30 has always eluded me but I would love to own a well looked after car.

+mellilore I have always wanted an E30, driving one around Italy sounds fantastic :). I drive a 1991 200sx S13 daily around London. RWD, light chassis, happy little engine, stiff suspension, skinny tyres & crap brakes = Huge amount of fun.

These damn infotainment systems kill me... I occasionally drive a '14 explorer limited in our carpool for work and you need a 30 minute youtube tutorial just to operate the hvac. Changing the radio station...?? Another tutorial. Drives me crazy. Just give me some knobs, all these damn LCD graphics and touchscreen animations... I just want to reach over, do my adjustment and drive. Even the steering wheel controls are multifunction and the information is on tiny screens in the DIC. I have an '03 grand marques in my driveway at home, simple dash, basic aftermarket headunit with remote, cheap and easy. I enjoy driving my mercury more than most of these new cars simply because it is simple.

oh im not ofeended, nicely done comment tho. was expectin some childish argument. but yea, i feel u on the kids with the big ass wings and welded on pipes. if youre gonna kit a car out, do it right and spend some money. Got a B18 Teg I'm fixin 2 do work on. Believe me, I'm gonna take my time on it. Cant fuckin stand it when the kids buy the filters for a colrdair n they just bolt them on the stock intake, or my favorite, buyin a 20 dollar tip from autozone n welding it on. -_- fart machines.

anyone would take a lambo or ferrari if they got the money.... but like they are all saying...... we dont buy civics cause they are cheap... every buys something for what they want..... civics are nice to make fast and yet not that expensive..... i know that for damn straight cause my G35 if like 1G for any up...... if you cant handle running in here with the same guys that enjoy the same passion as i do... you shouldnt be here. FNF movies there was no lambo or that ritsy shit.....

@kubalibre305 I don't mean to hate anything here, but you do know that there are some very quick Hondas out there, right? I don't mean those fiberglass booths either. And you have to admit that VTEC is quite a clever system. Obviously bigger engines have more brute force and don't need things like that, but I would only see it as a good challenge to take the same sort of horsepower out of a 1.6 liter.

@miragef19 Nope still a honda with a kit. I reassured the through my friend who owns and works at a Beamer Dealship lol. it did fool him for about 10 mins. Now can we know for sure, nope lol cuz we cant honestly see the front so noone can say what it is for sure, but he said alot of thigns through it off from being a beamer. Or it was modified alot. So honestly either of us could be right lol.

honda owners are stereotyped big time. theres a bunch of ricers and wannabes out there of course. but for some, its just about a clean style. i just finished mine, i have a lip i just put on. lowering springs. and alloy rims off an 02 civic. it looks good. but i dont have that garbage body kit and all that. and unlike most honda owners, i can admit that mines slow.

@gogokindrickthedonke no they dont teir so light all they need is an engine swap with a k20 or h22a and they will be able to match mustangs, its about car weight to engine power/ a really light car plus a a strong engine equals a fast car/// a heavy car such as a mustang plus a powerful engine equals a kinda fast car so its not always about wat car has more hp

@gogokindrickthedonke are you kidding me i had a stock ls swap civic coupe running 12s with just a 65 shot...without vtec just an ls motor...civics are light and all they need is a swap to be quick and with turbo they will hit 10s easy...my civic rans 11s with olny 4 grand under the hood

@devyvalentino how is honda the best to upgrade? because you can buy all your parts from autozone or walmart...? i hope you know those little engines can only hold there mods for alittle while, those 8 secs. that car wont last a month or so with them romping on it all the time..

@jutsze If Hondas were given a v8 they would fall apart because they can't handle the strength! Stangs get 0-60 in less than 5 seconds STOCK! P.o.s. 4 cylinders can't get there in 10 seconds, and that's with your pimped out spoiler and missing hubcap.

hondas need thousands of dollars in mods just to stay up with stock v8s, twin turbo trans ams smoke 2jz supras all day, not to mention a stock one will kill 700hp hondas bc hondas have no torq to back up that v-takkk power.

@Mi1TowN414 not all v8s are super car rated, theres alot of high performance l4s that will stay up with modofiied v8s, though most v8s will always have a much more powerful aftermarket than inline 4s.
