your really do need to learn how to both spell and pronounce the names of
the places you travel through ... for example it's pronounced Ma-ra-run-die
and there is nowhere called Amdale ... however there is a place Armidale
Thanks for sharing. The scenery looks remarkably similar to what you'd see
out the window during a road trip between Los Angeles and San Francisco if
you took highways instead of the Interstate.
The longest place I been drive so far is Stanthorpe (Big Apple) but next
week were going to Sydney via The New England Road and back on Thursday via
on Shore road (Gold Coast)
Small towns through the journey are beautiful. I took the journey in Oct
2010, except it passes Sydney and we went to Wollongong. One of the best
journeys ever.
hey, i just started playing WoT, i was wondering what path i should go
along? i don't want to hit tier 10 with tanks that cant keep up with other
tanks of the same tier. I would appreciate and suggestions.
bad luck I'm afraid, you'll always sometimes come up against higher tier tanks. The matchmaking changes with type of vehicle, but most of the time you can be put in matches up to 2 tiers higher or 2 tiers lower than you (so a tier IV medium can sometimes get into tier VI matches). However, most of the time the matchmaker will put you in games with roughly the same tier tanks. The difference comes if you play some light tanks which get scout matchmaking (up to 4 tiers higher than them - so tier IV scouts can get in tier VIII games), and artillery has a 3-tier spread, so tier IV arty often gets put in tier VII games. Not all light tanks are scouts though. Most tank tech trees will be fine for the games they get into - but if you don't want to be consistently outmatched then I guess the French medium/heavy line (D2, B1, BDR G1B, ARL 44 etc) is one to avoid - they're not bad tanks but they're just nothing special and they have absolutely no armour. For your first major tree I'd recommend the Soviet heavy line (T-46, T-28, KV-1, KV-1S, IS, etc) because it's not a hard grind and there are some excellent tanks in it. Then again, the most important thing to remember is that there will always be some nasty grinding in WoT, so just grin and bear it.
Am I just the only one getting annoyed by the scrub nut entourage? I think
the map previews you did for earlier test releases was much better without
all those tanks just getting in your way. Less distracting too. :-)
in one of the developer's Live Journal, I saw a post that they will be introducing a new city map over the next patches. Its called Kharkiv (look it up on google maps) and I think it will be a downtown somewhere at Svobodniy Square because it looks just right for a city map and Assault mode
+QuickyBabyTV Well... screw atillery! Im amazed to hear that argument from you. kappa And those closed of pathways in citys would be really cool for closed in combat, like you said. Looking forward too see these on big maps.
citys are fun hiding in buildings and corners love that stuff
