+crivensro I would recommend using canned chickpeas here. You could use dried, but that would involve soaking, cooking, chilling and then frying...to many steps and I don't think all that extra work is justified. Maybe use fresh as an alternative to canned if you can find them. I hope you give this recipe a try and please let me know how it turns out! Thanks for watching.

Great flavor combo and very original! Just a tip on the popcorn toss in 3
kernels and wait for them to pop before you toss in the rest. They'll pop
quicker and you will end up with fluffier, tender popcorn
Looks wonderful! I would say you could do the trick of using a paper bag to
coat your popcorn with the flavoring (put it all in and shake). It would
give it a bit more of an even coat I think.
