Why does frying need to be used? What about baking and not at high
temperature? Frying is unhealthy and high temperature cooking isn't good,
except when necessary and it's done while respecting safe smoke point
guidelines, which evidently few people follow or even know about. Being a
cautionary cook is better than being a negligent one. It's better to be
safe, rather than sorry, the old expression says. Even meats and fish,
f.e., can be cooked at low temperatures. It just takes longer.
Early in the clip she says she adds vegetable oil for the frying. At 3:30,
she says to not make the puréed mixture totally flat, because it's going to
be rolled out. At 3:58, she begins frying the falafels. At 4:17 she says if
we're going to bake the falafels, instead, then to flatten them out "a
little bit" so that they cook more evenly and I hadn't caught this the
first time I listened to this video, which is MOSTLY about frying falafels.
Try THINKING a little more before bitching.
I didn't say that you didn't post about Ani or Anis mentioning the baking
alternative to frying. Instead, I only confirmed having listened to the
video again and did notice, this time, her very brief words about baking
the falafel. Either I hadn't noticed it at all the first time, or I did and
just was too mentally tied up with the frying, which is not a healthy or
recommendable way to cook. Her recipe is great, esp. if certified org.
ingredients are used, but I would only bake it.

difference rather than stopping and starting the video to catch the
ingredients. Your recipe is nice and simple. I'm going to try it tonight.
