actually the unemployment rate has been lowered from 55% to 45% more or less now compared to 3 years ago this is due to the fact that more and more foreign investments are coming into the country meaning more work for the citizens though majority of the population about 30-40% are not qualified for the most part due to inadequate requirements mostly on the part of education this is mainly the reason why the K12 education curriculum program was introduced.

if you're gonna take it into perspective, the only reason why the Philippines is a good investment target is really because of the human resources, which was accurately described by that Indian interviewee as having a large number of English-speaking individuals. add to that, the amount of unemployment here which makes it easier to recruit for your business... also, Filipinos are very intelligent and trustworthy enough

The only thing European about the Philippines is Roman Catholicism and borrowed words from Spain. The Filipino concepts of family, hierarchy, respect to elders and memory for ancestors is very Asian. The rice, the noodles, the dried salted fish are also very Asian. The language is also a combo of many Fukkien Chinese, Malay, Japanese, and Sanskrit words. The rest is Spanish and loaned English.

The concept of being Asian is geographic and not about a person's looks or a country's cultural influence. You said so yourself that the Philippines is located in Southeast Asia. So whether you like it or not, Filipinos are Asians
