Fantastic! I was a bit disappointed that it stopped before the lines:
"D'you do voodoo Vic?" "No, I don't do voodoo. I do do Judo though." 15
years later I still can't hear the words voodoo or judo without thinking
about that phrase!
I know for a fact one of the businessmen is Mr Cheeky Chappie from Banzai
but pretty sure one of them was also the original Mr Shake hands man.
Either way love this song.
The sinister side of Cottage Cheese is VOODOO! And no explaination of the
connection is bothered with. It's just a fact, the sinister side of Cottage
Cheese is voodoo.
I think what I like about R&M is that they are a throwback to vaudeville
and a type of British humor that doesn't really exist anymore, only it's
absurdist.
yeah thats why i sing it all the time but iv just started to ger it lol n
it aint jordi its townie well on the bob side n vic is jordi... well darlo
lol:P
wow..great post..didn't realise this is where the theme for 'the smell of
reeves & mortimer' harkened from...they do use old material years after
their original outing..like the Stotts appearing on the current shooting
stars..wish they'd bring back the living carpets & turnip & talc..my two
faves!
@RevolTees Yeah, add to it the fact that The Big Night Out DVD seemed to be
edited by Freddie Kruger and you have a very poor product from Channel 4.
They're simply workshy fops!
Superb! What a rarity! Never seen this before. Such a shame it wasn't
included on the Big Night Out DVD release, along with the New Years Eve
special. Very poor from C4..
+scamperface Some people think that sort of devalues their current accomplishments and work. Sort of how people always mention Marty Friedman's work in Megadeth but don't pay much attention to his current work.
