Hi, I'm actually seeking a beautiful grey colour and I think the grey that this colour develops is beautiful. I've got my hair made silver/grey at a salon but it has quite a blue tinge especially when its freshly colours (fades with a number of washes). So my question is: Does the grey that this colour creates have any blue tinge to it? or is it purely grey?

It seemed grey no blue tinge at all. Now that I look back it is a nice color. Hopefully your blue won't come through.

I'm using this color as we speak! I hope mine doesn't go grey. I put it over a medium blonde just to tone out my orange since I was a red head before! I'll let you know how mine turns out. Hopefully not too bad cuz I do have to go to work after this haha

Hahah yes the color was nice but as I was washing it out I like oh man this is so grey!!! next time go for Joico in 7B AND 8B and I mix them together thats my new color!!

so if my hair is like a red orange similiar to that red your hair was after the 1st bleaching can i just skip and lighten it more like you did with the second bleaching and use the ash brown box dye and get your final result?

+'Lovee Serenity Yes you can. the best ash brown i have found is from blonde brilliance ash toner i tried it recently and loved it. It is very strong and fast so i would just be careful

I was very sleepy when I first watched it and must have missed that part, but seeing it again, a lot more is clear now. That, and I'm also very nervous, because I have never dyed my hair before. Thank you so much. By the way, I love the result in the video, I hope I can dye my hair as well as you did in this video.

+Pareegak If you have dark roots and lighter ends from a previous dye job, then yes the rest of the hair will go lighter and maybe even blonde (if you have light brown hair), if you apply the dye to your entire head at once. That's why in the video I dyed my sisters black roots first and left the dye to process for x amount of time before applying the dye to the rest of her hair. This two step process ensures that everything is the same (or close to the same) colour/lightness :)

I used loreal excellence 8 light blonde for my asian hairr.... (without bleach) but sadly my hair dint change their colour to light blonde. is bleaching the hair a must??? I can see u dint bleach.... a followed the procedure as u didd... but why the difference.... please reply

Hello! Sorry it didn't work for you :( Have you dyed your hair before? I didn't use bleach on my sisters hair here but her hair accepts dye easily and changes colour fast so her hair turned brown with this dye. Sometimes the hair dye that works for one person won't work for another because everyone's hair is different. For example when my other sister used this dye her hair turned an even lighter brown even though I kept it on her hair for the same time, but on me it only changes my hair to a dark brown. You will just have to keep trying out different hair dyes until you find one that works for you!

I normally buy hair dye from grocery stores. brown and blonde colours stay longer than red or whatever on black hair because it fades less. However, I still wonder if its permanent? it's been awhile since I dyed my hair

+Miss Unknown depends on what dye you get :) there are permanent dyes and also semi-permanent ones. The one I used in this video is permanent.

+yifan zs haha this is my sister in the video, I'm the one dying her hair so you only see my hands :P but my sister (both of them) were blessed with long and thick eyelashes!! They never have to wear falsies just a bit of mascara. While me on the other hand, if you've watched my makeup videos, have absolutely no lashes hahaha the struggle.
