Diving in Aruba 2014 with my GoPro

+Nerdgirl battery life its pretty decent. in warm Caribbean waters I can get over an hour of continuous use. I have a 16GB card in the camera and it never fills up using 1080p at 30fps. I bought 2 extra off brand batteries on amazon and a charger for 25 bucks and I changed the battery out after each stop on our 10 day cruise. In fresh water inland lakes where it can get to 55 degrees for diving the battery might only last 30 minutes. the quarry dive video I have on my channel was in 60 degree water and I think i got about 40 minutes out of it. If you do buy a GoPro for scuba invest in a red filter to color correct in camera. I use final cut X and it makes it a ton easier to edit. speaking of editing the above dive was 40 minutes long at an average depth of 20 feet in 79 degree water.

+Chris F How is the battery life on that one?  I guess for diving the most one needs is an hour, but would be good to hear your take on it.

Thanks! I really like the Gopro Silver Edition. its not the Gopro Hero3+ just the Plain Hero 3. Works fantastic as you can see.Thanks for the feedback and for watching my videos! hope you stick around for more content and show your friends. :)

Haha Im going to Aruba Tomorrow! Im bringing my GoPro and dive housing! Hopefully I can get some good fish videos or spear fishing vids!

Use Pelican divers if you can they were great and there boat was really nice. Do the Antilla at least once and dive the planes too. There is a lot of great diving there some of the best. We are buying a hotel in Xcalak Mexico there is the best of all worlds there. you will have to go there if you get the chance too. Johnny

If you have not left for Aruba yet and you dive go to Pelican divers they are very good. Make sure you do a night dive

+OllieGamer94 3+ Black. Same settings above and under water, used Protune. Only under water I put on a red filter. Glad you like it :)

There can be really strong currents, you have to wait for a pretty calm day then its a great dive.
