@mickwall8 The sacred cows are out grazing. It's a machine...and there are literally thousands of them out there. Do whatever trips your trigger. Motorcycles are about getting a visceral surge. A boring looking run-of-the-mill designed-for-the-masses motorcycle is boring. I see the desire of preservationists to keep things original. But I say who cares? Make it a cafe, or hell, weld that frame up, throw on some extra long forks and make that bike an old-school period-correct chopper.

I say restomod. These are beautiful bikes in factory form but throwing a nice set of period correct exhaust, drag bars and maybe some rearsets would look fantastic and could be taken back to stock very easily. Have you done anything on this bike since ? I'm not seeing any other videos....

I just bought that exact bike. Same color and all. i would love to see you do a resto. i will keep checking in. I just got my Clymer manual yesterday. I will let you know what I run in to. It took five days to get the rust out of my tank, using vinager and muratic acid.

If you throw a rock into a bar, it will bounce off six cafe racer owners before it hits the ground. The rock will wear out before it has the good fortune to bop anyone who has one of these in original trim. Restore it please. and let's see some video of that.

You say it is all there. Then put it all back. Polish it, put some new parts on it staying with the stock theme. Seems like there is an electronic ignition out there. Do as much as you want, that is reversible. They're only original once.

The resto, not sure on the sympathy, is clearly in the lead. How about a hybrid? Stock painted parts and seat, but we throw some flat bars and rear sets on her. What if engine number two is stuck also?

Since its all there I would restore not cafe racer as nice as they are, if that had sat in my garage for that time it would have fallen apart with rust, oh to live in a good climate. Good find :)

My grandfather has a 73 CB350F in a back shed in the yard. i would love to see it restored one day, these are great bikes.

no cafe, they are the mullets of the motorcycle world except you can't fix them with a hair cut
