Lamborghini Diablo 6.0, Nordschleife

Like piloting the Millennium Falcon. My 17th lap of the 'Ring. Not a demon lap, but pretty brisk at just over 9 mins BTG.

I love vt6.0's. I had a 2001 last year and am looking to replace it as I miss the sound of the angry 12 cylindr's behind me. The sound is irriplaceable. If I may quote the roy toy (roy cats) as to say, when you want to be somebody you buy a ferrari, when you've been somebody you buy a lamborghini. I believe he was quoting sanatra. Boss, you are the boss, nice driving , you inspire me. May I sample this video for my holiday dance mix tape the sound makes me dance fromthe ceiling?Boss for Prez!

over 9' is quite sloppy for a car of this caliber tbh... i recall a seat leon going round it in 8'45 or so... and i drove my friend's Mclaren SLR in 8'03 (though i must admit - i used to be a rally driver and i'm not sure you're one XD)

You want to do faster lap times? Practice and please adjust the suspension and change for a better clutch for the Diablo as it is notorious for having a heavy clutch! And also don't forget to improve your aero dynamics!

That sound...oh my God, that SOUND! I've been thinking of shipping my Trans Am over there for a lap around the 'ring. Doesn't handle anywhere near like that Lambo, but I'm betting it would still be a blast.

what a true lambo is supposed to sound like ..not like the GAY-ARDO with its lack of torque or good engine sound at all sounds like a toned down ferrari lol this cars a fucking a beast

Bloody hell that thing is well planted! =) I thought Lambos were over rated crap! but this proves me wrong haha! Great sound too! =) if not one of the best sounding cars ever.

great video, sound is AMAZING! so were you heel toe down shifting? or were you just letting up on the clutch and letting the engine gain all its revs back up?

that proves that money can buy lots of horse powers, but not a good lap time (compared to that what the car would be able to do...) the sound is amazing!!!

People take their own cars there. Its a free for all open track during the week and a test track for mainly german cars during special days. Porsche has had permanent settlement there for 50 years. Factory backed speed tests are very rare. Nissan does it because they want to market their car in Europe but has no heritage that Europeans can relate to. Americans did their media-stunt runs because american cars dont sell in Europe and they are desperate for some credability. Dont believe the hype.

Its funny how americans think this track is some international benchmark now that Corvette, Viper and even Cadillac went there with hypermodified cars to set misleading lap times. Then they went home to USA and told everyone how its an international benchmark to give their lap times some validity. If it makes it any easier to accept.... Nissan started the faking with their Skyline and GTR when they first broke the 8 minute laptime. Which was fine except the car was supertuned.

ik was daar ook!!!!! ik heb op de zelfde plek als jou gestaan :D toen waren er niet veel supercars over het vrije cicuit daar, ik was daar tijdens een of andere oldtimer race , vond ik niet bijzonder :S, het koste 30 euro per persoon voor de tribune :S , even langsgereden op vakantie :)

@Janusha GT2 RS did it in 7:18 and smoke all other production car records here. So yes it is kind of an unofficial benchmark for production cars not for the race cars though.
