I just made this mickey hat, I used the H hook as recommended for toddler, and it came out way too big, it came out for an adult size?? I don understand what happened...please HELP, thanks

+Maria Kennedy Gauge is probably the issue. Not everyone that crochets does so with the same tension. Some people use an H hook and crochet looser/tighter which results in bigger or smaller items. Try it again with a smaller hook. Like a D.
