Valves. May or may not be an issue. If you do an oil change and still hear it, you may want a mechanic to give you an opinion. I know a few BMWs have been notorious for this and have still run for ages with valve noise.

way to common, should've been a recall, i had the same problem, fixed it for 20 bucks ford wanted almost 500. i have a 08 lariat fully loaded but its a piece of shit. i am also getting this weird noise now, it sound like mud tires when you hear them rolling down the street, but i have the stock 20" pirellis. i have no idea wtf it is. i am thinking it could be the tires tread getting low??? just guessing. have you experienced that yet?

I found out that it was my actuators causing the noise. My solenoid behind the battery compartment had allowed water to get in the system. As a result my actuator on that side was not releasing all the way in 2x4. I got the new solenoid with the rain shield to keep that from happening again (about $25) and two actuators from RockAuto

What's that loud noise coming from the tires? The faster I drive the noise gets louder! If you are wondering what makes that loud noise when you drive your car?

So after i replaced the front bearing my sensors for ABS, slip, and vdc off came on; on the dash. They were not on prior to installation, i removed the battery terminal and they still remained. Any idea on how to get rid of the lights? I really dont think its a bad sensor just reading gone wrong with new part. Any ideas? 2009 Nissan Maxima

+Cierra Jefferson No idea, probably there are some sensors that need to be reset. I turned off all my sensors and they are all lighted.

Bro. You are driving around with your parking break engaged, no wonder you are having rear bearing issues.

+Sherlock Homes All sensors are off, that's why all lights are on.

I replaced the bearing on the rear passenger side and I still hear that noise in the back. I'm going to look at the rear drivers side tomorrow.

+Diverse VE I double checked and the tires and they are good. Its my back tires that make that sound and there really is no way to align them with it being a fwd car. I think i found the problem. There is NO insulation from what i saw in the rear wheel wells, so i bought 2 cans of rubber insulation foam and sprayed a whole can in each well. Will be taking it out on the road in a little bit to see if it worked.

+Paul Blakey If noise continues, that could be the tires needing alignment or are worn out unevenly?

I have 07 maxima cvt transmission with the same abs problem, car wont accelerate, what did you do to disable the abs system? is yours cvt?

+Artek O. My nephew disabled some stuff apx?...3 or 4 years ago and the car accelerates fine since then, I have no problem with it except AC leaks and power steering leaks.

I change the oil every 4to5k miles and most of the time drive it smoothly.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
what all have u done to keep it running that long?? i dont know a whole lot about cars, so thats why im asking.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-PcgoDpSP84U/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAYI/SHh8jMGNCl8/photo.jpg?sz=64
+limejester 252k now, it still seems to be riding smoothly, I just need to fix power steering leak, perhaps I can reach 300k? we'll see? Altimas are nice too.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
Are you speed sensor are bad too. Due to the fact the TCS/ABS & SLIP lights is still on.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-PcgoDpSP84U/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAYI/SHh8jMGNCl8/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Anthony Goshine Speed sensors are good, all other sensors I had to turn off due to car not wanting to accelerate when I press the acceleration.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-FwofWoMvtsI/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAADo/FDmORTh8Zjw/photo.jpg?sz=64
I couldn't help but notice your ABS/TCS lights on? Did you do anything about that? Mine came on when I started having an issue with an ABS speed sensor (or maybe the wheel hub) after the ECU detects that one of them failed. I haven't replaced the sensor yet and after cleaning the old one, the lights now come on intermittently, so I'm leaning towards replacing the hub, but the screws are very dirty/rusty.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-FwofWoMvtsI/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAADo/FDmORTh8Zjw/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Diverse VE Ah. I'm getting something similar where it intermittently thinks I'm slipping so it keeps my RPM under 2k so I can't pick up speed. What I did to disable it was just to disconnect the front right speed sensor because you can access it easily (to keep the ABS actuator from burning out). This disables the ABS/TCS but it's definitely needed on snow where I live. You can also disconnect the 15A Fuse, number 49 in front of the car I believe, that'll turn off the ABS/Speed sensor but it also takes out your speedometer. I have a new sensor so I'm hoping once I swap it out it'll be good. If not, the wheel hub is next...
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-PcgoDpSP84U/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAYI/SHh8jMGNCl8/photo.jpg?sz=64
+iSOBigD All my lights are on because I had to block the sensors from preventing my car not driving. I had a problem, when I hit the accelerator the car was not going any place. Now it works fine, I don't have ABS but I don't need them, it saved me lot's of money.
