Why was Mary the only female? Because most of the male names are those of prophets and there weren't many female prophets. Mary, peace be upon her, is a highly respected woman in Islam.

There actually are no female prophets even though women like Mary and Miriam were true believers there arent any female prophets

100% wrong Abu Kalam.BJP, BAJRANG DIL, RSS, SENA NOW RULE INDIA. In India Muslim Population is 15% to 20% but in Civil Service share is only 3%. Muslims are considered 2nd class citizens in India .
