Hello Karen. Most vehicles do use the same basic system for draining the sunroof area. Other areas must also be checked for leaking like the A/C drain and windshield.

I have a bmw X5 2003, and when it rains water trickles down the passenger side along the far rite of the glove compartment. I dont know where its coming from. Could it be clogged drains? Please help, contact me at [email protected], thanks

Hello Mark.  Yes, this could be clogged drains, but also check windshield for leaks at top as this may also cause issues.
