Looks like a nice compact CB. Love how small it is! The weather channel
automatically tunes itself in? Can you control it manually? Do you know of
any other CB's that size with SSB?
I've used a product from 3M called VHB (very high bond) double sided tape
in the past and it might have saved you the trouble of putting holes on the
top of your dash. It gives an incredible amount holding power for double
sided tape and holds great inside of a car with the extremes of
temperature.
The weather channel tunes it self to the clearest station automatically. Cobra has a little radio out like this but no Weather Stations. BEST $50.00 I EVER SPENT

Post a video of your ride! 1997 GMC Safari SLT GM V6 Vortec 262 CID Running Royal Purple Full Synthetic 5W30 Motor Oil Heat + AC (+rear AC) Top-Center ...
Hi there, glag you love your gmc safari, I use to love japanese cars until
I drove my mom Buick Regal GS and fall in love with GM ever since, and now
I have owns 95 GMC Safari SLT AWD it did a great job in snow and icy
weather condition, now i removed all the back seat for my daily work van,
I also own 09 GMC Acadia SLT 2 for me and yes it's AWD and a 02 Montana
Vision AWD for my wife, now I love this Acadia, and the Montana's AWD more
then the Safari because it's came with advance E-G80 AWD.
I Drove a 1994 Teil green AWD for 10 years. I tried many many many times to
get it stuck. I towed a 10 foot fiberglass camper trailer (2000 lbs)
through mud on trails that most people turned around at. Awsome machines. I
blew then engine in my 94 last May long...my fault I rarely changed the oil
or did any up-keep I just drove the shit out of it until it died. Check out
my channel on what I scored now. A 2000 AWD in near mint condition with a
117,000 kms on it. This thing is a virgin...........
@Ggreenvideos Thank you. It is quite truck tough - lots of folks especially
small companies needing a capable hauling or towing vehicle with more than
5 seats without going to full-size truck or true SUV were very disappointed
when GM announced shutting down the Baltimore plant in 2005. Also many
folks went jobless.
Thanks for the info and yes I am aware of the possible kits but the engines
still differ by components. Ultimately the time to properly place in a
turbo and change components the V8 swap is *quicker*. You REALLY like the
AWD from GM and I fully understand why! hah ha. Thanks for watching!
To get more power for your Safari, you don't have to put in the V8, there
is a turbo kits for GMC 4.3L V6 that creat 280 HP. and 350 foot pound of
torque, this system was in (1991 GMC Syclone) only, hope you find this
useful, gotta love GM. :-)
Right on! I bounce this vehicle a lot and it gets a lot of roughing. Needs
some TLC soon. Hope you keep yours well maintained for many more years of
service! I like your White 2000 AWD, it is clean! You got a big garage too
hah ha.
@wawhiker Thanks! TCLowell (who I gave a shout out in another video to be
uploaded) purchased a newer 2003 Astro. Similar setup to mine but he went
Rancho 9000, skid plates and a true 4wd transfer case.
