You missed your calling..you should totally have your own radio show called "Stories by Candlelight" and tell true ghost stories...your voice is very cool to listen to,you're an awesome narrator,creating vivid pictures in the listener's minds.Great Stories!You should tell some more of them.Love the crumpling plastic noise.I grew up in several haunted houses,and my grandmother had that plastic on her couch,and my grandpa had it in his car,believe it or not in,his old Cutlass.

These people wouldn't believe in ghosts even if a ghost bit them on the ass. They always act so knowledgeable, but they're going along with what everyone else thinks they know, which is zero minus nothing. "Oh, there's no such thing as ghosts," says NO ONE who has ever seen one, EVER.

This was interesting, however, where I'm living, we have things flying off shelves, lights turning off and on by themselves, spectres, voices, and all the phenomena accociated with a major haunting. Still, I enjoyed the story!

My wife asked me about the couch polaroid...it didn't have plastic on the cushions because Taytay, my granddad, was visiting us. When we has esteemed guests, my mom would remove the plastic (out of embarassment?)

Hello from another Alaskan! You are right not to assume they are aliens. They are probably Chinese lanterns. Especially with it being New Years Eve. Look up other videos showing how probably it is that many UFO sightings are Chinese lanterns. We've even let some off in Anchorage before, before ever knowing they could be confused for a UFO.

Have you ever been in it? I think it gives it character. That building was only open and used for about 7 years. The graffiti is what gives it life. With out it would jut be a big abandoned building.
