Just got back from visiting Palmer and my in-laws. I love it up there...amazing scenery and just really friendly people. I would love to come visit in the winter to see if "I can hang" with the snow and cold. Summertime is really nice, especially with the snow covered peaks on Pioneer Peak and the surrounding mountains. Not ever getting fully dark is something odd to me, coming from someone who lives in California. Thanks for posting this!

Now this is great! Everyone who takes pics in Alaska seems to favor the summer when it looks more like the rest of the country, but it's beautiful in Winter, especially the mountains. thanks!
