I'm sure that these vehicles would have already been junk; otherwise, a lot
of good vehicles were destroyed. Probably towed from a junkyard; though it

I have a MUCH better way to do it! Get a thick sweatshirt (the kind with a
hood)....and have the elderly person wear that.... then, if you are a man
that is, you can grab the sweatshirt at the shoulder area on both
shoulders, put your knees smack against the elderly person's knees (knee
caps to knee caps), then you can lift the person to standing position. If
the person is over 120 pounds, this may not work. Even if my mom goes limp,
I can dead lift her by the sweater... Try the sweater! I would not be
without it! I use it to guide my mom to and from the bathroom also.

Are you a caregiver who is exhausted? The Inspired Caregiver book is
helpful - it's for the health of the caregiver. I remember having to help
my loved one in and out of the car. The wheelchair thrashed the back of my
car. Caregiving isn't easy. We need to take care of ourselves. Great advice
in this video, especially the help with the care of the caregivers' backs.

one. She is also totally disabled and can not help at all. Then what???

This does not talk about if the patient is overweight. My mother is 200 lbs
and cannot maneuver herself into a sitting position.
