There was a lot of bravado about US "SHOCK AND AWE." In one of the wars
General Norman Schwarzkopf proclaimed: "I want every Iraqi soldier bleeding
from every orifice.'' This then is about a poor man's or poor country's,
(Afghanistan was one of the poorest countries on earth even before the
devastation,) "shock and awe," it's response to occupation. It's some
contrasting context, context often forgotten.
The soldier in this video talks about traumatic brain injury and how it is
an invisible wound. He says some of the effects are trouble sleeping and
headaches and that he just learns to deal with them.
