holy shit. this is pretty good. but, i disagree with the whole "davids voice exceeds adams" bit. Adam is a lyrical genius. along with his style of singing. the song would not have been so influential, and amazing if it weren't for adam. you can't discredit him. i think he sings it the way he does because no one else can sound like him.

wow, it's a fantastic cover. i think the comparison between the two is akin to comparing "hospital beds" by cold war kids and florence the machine. each are good in their own way but they have their own styles. if he sounded exactly like adam he would be regarded as just another copycat.

No it doesn't. I love David but the hurt in Adams voice makes that song. He doesn't make me feel the song like Adam does. The way he does it touches you. Involves you in it.

i dont think emile ford moved to america in the nineties as i saw him in my local working mes club some time in the mid nineties if he did it must have been in the late 1990s

if u watch the classic clip where they do the backing for tom jones then listen to the yeah yeah backing vocals on this song it sounds very similiar

@gdb11572 I was always led to believe it was bob holness who did all the backing vocals on emile ford recording :)

I think back when I was courting, saw Emile at the old theatre Royal in Bury still have his records.
