'Doug died': Fargo man has the last laugh with obituary
FARGO, N.D. (WDAZ/CNN Newsource/WKRC) -- Even if you count spaces and punctuation, Douglas Legler's obituary in today's Forum is shorter than his name.

Fargo Radio Caller Doesn't Understand Deer Crossing Signs
A woman called in to a local Fargo, ND radio show to voice a long-standing complaint about deer crossing signs. It quickly became clear that she has no idea ...
You also seem to notice that i'm putting this as fact, which isn't the
case. If you would use that thing called your eyes AND your brain, you'd
notice that I said small pebble of truth in the gravel pit of ignorance.
Gravel pits are pretty big, and pebbles are pretty small. Honestly, I
wouldn't be irritated at you trying to prove me wrong if I did say that all
of this true. I pretty much said that although the brain of that dimwit
is... dim, there's that speck of light that has some intelligence
you are just as stupid as the woman talking on this video. so what you are
saying is that the deer recognize the fact that if a sign is in place they
are more likely to survive? actually, i'm not asking you, that's pretty
much what you said. you are fucking stupid and you have probably made more
people even more stupid for reading your comment like mackinley6. you think
that the deer recognize that one road crossing is safer than another.
that's fucking stupid. they cross where they want.
Well... there is some truth to it... well... there's a pebble of truth in
the gravel pit of ignorance. At places where deer crossing signs are, deer
die less... because drivers see a sign and realize they don't want to dent
their car, so they drive more carefully. That makes it so that more deer
cross there compared to other places... since deer at other places die
more... since drivers don't realize the danger of the possibility of
denting their car.
look up Darwinism. You'll notice that natural selection comes in all
colors, and that you even humans get the prestigious honor of getting
Darwinist awards... You'll also notice that animals tend to keep the same
migration patterns, and keep to the same routes when they travel, even
short distances. You should probably take a class on biology before you
yell at someone for making a point on natural selection.
From looking at all of your other comments, I'm just going to label you as
"stubborn grump" in my mind, you can label me as "retard" in your mind, and
we can leave with whatever respect we have for each other... If there's any
left. Sorry I tried putting reason to some dimwit's (not you) way of
thinking.
what you said has absolutely no bearing on natural selection. it's not even
close to what we are talking about here. migration patterns? more like the
population of the deer in that area. fuck your class on biology. talk to a
wisconsin game warden about why and where they put those signs up.
i've literally seen deer jump a guardrail, when in fact 30 feet from the
guardrail it was wide open. they didn't have to jump at all. but you think
they can tell where a safe haven to cross the road is? fucking retard.
fucktard. whatever...
My, my some have their shorts in a knot. Deer are always fascinating
animals to observe, humans, well...we can get downright
cantankerous...wonder if the deer have as much fun watching us as we do
them.
exactly. i figured you go to that. that's what i call checkmate. have a
good night. and be careful of those deer crossing signs because it's a
migratory route and we don't want to disrupt that.
