@StCMS The firing you see is actually meant to be directed towards the jungle and not the boat. Let me explain, while the soldiers with the automatic guns fire at the boat, the bigger gun, like the one firing the red "lights", fires into the surroundings to cover the fire of the soldiers shooting at the boat to prevent them from being spotted by hidden enemy in the jungle. Its a combat tactic. Its not that they need target practice, trust me they can put a bullet between your eyes if they want.

@wowggscrub There are four main groups in Colombia. The cartel hired a private army now called the Paramilitary to fight against the government and the FARC. The FARC are fighting against the paramilitary and the Cartel. A real shitty place to be if you get stuck in the middle. Lessong here? If you do visit Colombia which is an AMAZING country stay inside of the cities. They are as safe as any other city in the world. Go out of the city and into the jungle or elsewhere it may not be safe :D

@Franke747 jajajaj... es muy facil ver esto por video y criticar, pero para nuestros soldados NO es un juego, acaso creen que las balas de un arma salen en linea recta?, una vez escuche a un experto tirador explicar esto, yo nunca he tocado y menos disparado un arma, ahora disparar ametralladoras de alto calibre a un bote en pleno movimiento, no se necesita ser un genio para saber que no es cualquier cosa, en todo caso... los 5 delincuentes que estaban en el bote fueron abatidos... definitivamente hace falta haber sido soldado colombiano para entender que pasa aquí, los proyectiles no es que pasen lejos, lo que pasa es que al abrir fuego se delata la posición, por lo cual mientras unos soldados disparan hacia la lancha, otros disparan hacia posibles posiciones que desde el otro lado del rio intenten contener el fuego o matar a los soldados, eso esta en los libros de campaña del ejercito de colombia

la gente habla paja, creen ke las balitas salen directo o todas dan en el blanco ..bueno si es asi si estas en una peli de rambo ,pero en la vida real hacen parabolas(curva ascendente-descendente)y las armas pesadas(como las ke se disparan en el video)son las de menos rango de efectividad debido al fuerte recule, en cambio si estubieran disparando pistolas o rifles de precision(snipper rifles)seria muy distinto

RCN miente, este video mostrado en otros sitios de la web en ellos se ve claramente la sevicia con que fueron atacados y mutiladas, estas personas por lo menos mas de cien miembros del ejercito disparando armas de largo alcance, esto son los medios de desinformacion colombianos, la verdad no es la favorita de la "etica periodistica".

the idea wasn't erase them..was to block the package...but after they didn't surrender and counterfight...soldiers blown the boat as you can see...Colombian Soldiers now are professional and skilled in Human Rights and International Reglamentations on war...that's for sure and I've been with them in some missions..
