ayahuasca is good, but the idea of ayahuasca tourism? that is scary to me... something so deep and personal becoming some sort of tourism? tourism is synonymous with entertainment. Ayahuasca is for healing, and truly not for entertainment or curiosity

+John O'Shaughnessy On a website for Kapitari (Ayahuasca centre), they say not to come if you are just ticking off a box on your bucket list. They say unless you feel a strong pull to the plant, you are not ready. Your entirely correct btw :) I wish I could afford the $4000 to get there from Oz :)

I see it more like space tourism: it can have profound impacts on the way you think about the world, and some people do it for that reason, but others just view it like an expensive roller coaster ride.
