Zack Snyder reveals the alternate Man of Steel ending he cut from the film. It involves Henry Cavill's Superman killing Michael Shannon's Zod. Subscribe ...
+Jeffrey Bravo The only problem I had was the less character development from the lesser impact of Pa Kent's death, the overall somber tone of the movie, and the fact Metropolis is fixed in a day.
I wouldn't mind if in the movie towards the fight or mid-fight he tried to
actually save someone, it felt like he didn't care with all the destruction
if someone got hurt and then bam he kills to protect. it just feels so out
of the blue and out of character. I would love to see him save more people
other than the workers at the oil rig. He tells the guy to go back into the
Ihop where it'll be safer and then he destroys it in his fight with the
other kryptonians. At least try to get zod away from the city and zod drags
him back, or at least mention to zod to stop with all the destruction or
catch some debris and then zod attacks him. That's the Superman I came to
grow up with, everyone's hero and ispiration. Not someone who doesn't care
if bystanders get hurt when he destroys a small town or city while
fighting.
"which is uncharacteristic of the super hero fans have known over the
years" obviously fans that have never read any superman comics
superman is violent as fuck and he puts his angry face on when he's taking
out the trash
I was actually expecting a real cut scene shown, not some bait and switch
for a discussion about the ending that we already saw in the movie.
Disappointing.
I don't like this end of Man of Steel. I want to see one of the Justice
League movie "Zod, Darkseid, Doomsday, Brainiac and Lex Luthor team up vs
Justice League. On that movie Superman can kill them ( But not Lex). We can
see the true power of Superman.
+joeofmacabre07 I have a really long theory but I don't want to bore anyone but with the new trailers I kinda doubt that's why they are fighting now. I think it's mostly Lex
+The Darkfrost actually that will be the topic at Batman v Superman. Where most people worshipped him as a god. Of course Batman opposed to that and then the battle of two titans began.
This is a MOVIE. They didn't want everyone like "Oh he's our savior! Bow down to Superman! He will save us!" No they wanted him to be slowly accepted and it to be realistic. And not everyone bows to America watch some news.
can't they run sups face in face searching program or however it's called,
the thing that can find anyone who's in database by the street cameras and
etc?
yea,i mean yes,he changes his hairstyle and wears glasses, which makes him a bit different, but if you run supes face in that program it will recognise him as clark kent
+Captain Goku That does sound suspicious. Jenny probably should've rejected him a bit more nicely considering what they've been through. I'm more surprised by Lombard than anyone in this entire movie because considering how much of jerk he was for the entire film, I totally expected the cliche of him being the asshole who runs away as Perry asked him for help to dig out Jenny. Steve Lombard, unsung hero.
+Steven Kaye Not just this shot, but also the profile shot when he tried hitching a ride. Even the teen who played young Clark during the school bus scene was totally resembling Welling.
+Mrs. Phyllis Stephens No, it doesn't fit with this Superman, Zimmer ftw.

While the kid in me was very disappointed and wished there was a post scene
clip with batman. The adult in me is glad and relieved that they want to
do it ... a bit different than Marvel. No reason to copy Marvel... DC
comics has been around longer and has some of the best iconic super heroes
and villains. Of course, Marvel has some too... but do your own thing...
DC and make us proud!
those post credit scenes often expand the cinematic universe. Marvel isn't
about making tons of separate movies, they want to create a cinematic
universe where all the movies work together. Man of Steel and the DC
Cinematic universe could have benefited greatly from having an after credit
scene IMO. Nolan is a great film maker but this shows he's not perfect
I disagree with Nolan on this. It encourages people to say and take in the
credits. Thousands of people work countless hours for years for your
favorite movie of the year to be made. Seeing all the names in the credits
makes me truly appreciate the creative process of a movie, from storyboard
to completion, and everything in between.
Sure, they work countless hours for years to make the movies I like. But, they get my money for doing that. Infact movies make millions. I paid to watch the movie and I choose to not read the credits, which shouldn't be an issue, because they have my money.
You got it backwards. The majority, the VAST majority of people don't want to read or sit through the credits. They added the post-credit scenes to try and make more people look at the credits. I think it rather stupid.
+goodvillain101 they reboot batman because nolans batman is too 'realistic' for the new DC cinematic universe, think about it, if they put the dark knight trilogy batman against the man of steel superman he'll get own in matter of seconds.nolans batman is a fighter, but nothing as agile and destructive (look at the arkham game batman) as the comic book batman, and when it comes to intelligent christian bales batman is..pretty dumb. he didn't invent his gears, have to ask gordon for instructions to take down mob bosses, shouting at people "WHERE ARE THE DRUGS GOING?!" "WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR?!" "WHERE IS SHE?!"...if batman have to go toe to toe with the man of steel himself he need to be the worlds greatest detective, a master of every science field and criminology, best human fighter known to man kind, to even have A CHANCE to fight the strongest being on earth. nolans batman is mean to be realistic in its own way and should not and can not put into a team of aliens, demi-god, intergalactic police and superhumans, rebooting it is the only sensible thing to do if you want batmans presents on the team make sense
It also wouldn't make sense or be confusing if they did recast Bale. His movies were set in a 'realistic' universe with no supernatural shit involved. So to have him in BvS, it would be like,"okay so do the Dark Knight movies also lead up to this?"
Actually they are rebooting Batman because Christian Bale doesn't want to play that character anymore. Learn the facts before making yourself look like a dumbass.
