@nflbound45 I think the led strips were 20cm long, so 9.5in sounds right. Which ones did we like better? definitely the halo rings. We had some issues with the led strips after a couple of months. Some LEDs started going out and that looked really bad. The halo lights look great, and those are still going. BTW, yes the led strips were run through the parking lights, the halo rings were ran independently with a switch and a fuse.

we opened up the headlights, then we painted the chrome parts with a glossy black paint, then the LED strip was glued on the bottom part of the headlight. Finally, the headlight is put together again, and placed in the car. We have a new setup for this car now (now with halo lights). I'll try to upload a new video.

@GIOOTO in most models, you have to take out a few bolts that hold in the lamp (the back and the lens), once you remove that, there should be some minor screws that you can take out to remove the two halts and let you get at the inside. It may be different for your model but thats the way it works on my Tacoma.

@nflbound45 When we bought the HID kit for this car, the kits were unknown and nobody really had them, we paid close to $150 but nowadays they're very popular and you can get some for $80 or less... The led strips were bought from ebay and those cost like $5. They came from Japan.

@jaymo5267 Jaymo, We had to 'cook' the headlights. We put them in an oven for about 10 minutes to get the glue that encloses the headlights melted, then opened them that way. If you're interested in more details let me know. Do you have any mods on yours?

all black? thats koo i always wanted mine like thatt.....right now i have it white on top and primer grey on bottom....with the flat black emblems.....i was tired of seein the exact same car on every corner so i changed it up!!!

@jaymo5267 mhh that's an interesting idea. this car got a recent paint job and is all blacked out, (smoked tail lights) I will try to get a video this weekend, so you can also check out the new lights project. stay tuned!

@puremaplesyrup22 it looks gay. it looks like christmas lights. don't even make a comparison to the audi cuz audi has tasteful curvature styling to it

no i dont but ive seen people open the tail lights and take out the orange turn signal piece out and its all white like da 2000 2001 es300!!!
