An explanation for the Ron/Lon:
Japanese pronunciation actually doesn't contain a differentiation between
Rs and Ls like in English or some other languages. In 日本式ローマ字 (Japanese
romanization) and several other forms of romanization, L sounds don't
exist, and characters like ろ(Ro) in ろん(Ron), and ル(Ru) in ルフィ (Ruffy/Luffy)
and ナルト (Naruto) are all written with an R. However, when they are
pronounced, they sound like something between the pronunciation of R and L
in other languages, which is why in romanizations outside of Japan, either
letter can be used, depending on how it sounds to speaker. Germans, for
example, prefer Monkey D. Ruffy (from One Piece), while Americans generally
use Monkey D. Luffy. Similarly, outside of Japan, ろん could be romanized as
either Ron or Lon.
The other reason why there is ambiguity/controversy in this particular name
is that in Western naming convention, Ron is a male name whereas Ron here
is a female. That is why Westerners tend to prefer the name Lon. Japanese
people who don't see the name Ron as stereotypically male are perfectly
content to use their standard romanization of Ron.
+Kevin Leugan everything you say is completely true owo however Lon's name is actually suppose to be "L" if possible because her name is coined from the word "London" as Arska said because its said she stayed/lived in London for a while ouo)b
+Kevin Leugan More like this. Rather than being spelled out as "Ron" in the correct romaji, ろん is spelled with a "L" instead of a "R" because it comes from "London".

You heard of the pairing SoraLon, right? Well, guess what? If you see
Soraru's tweet often, you can see how he repeatedly states that he doesn't
know Lon's gender (as he never seen her in real life). If even Soraru
doesn't know, then you can bet that Lon's gender is unknown. There is
confusion for a reason here. As much as I like Utaite wikia, some people
are taking anything written there at a complete fact. If I must take a
guess, I'd say s/he a girl, but no one is sure.
Lon may not sound like that much of a trap, but have you heard
vip-tenchou's voice? tenchou is revealed to be male, and sounds like he's
female through [almost] all of his songs. For all we know, Lon is a man. As
stated by haniipop, no definite source states Lon is female. Don't trust
the wikia sites 100% because, like Wikipedia, anyone can edit it. You gotta
love traps though. I like when they hide their genders because you really
aren't sure WHAT gender they are. :D
Lon is a girl. I'm sorry, but in the NNDictionary [the official dictionary
of NicoNicoDouga] it states that Lon is a Bokko or Bokummusume (ボクっ娘).
Bokko is a slang term referring to girls who are tomboys. It originated
from how these girls refer to themselves with the masculine pronoun "boku".
Soraru says Lon is a guy/doesn't know her gender because Soraru is trolling
people. He's known for trolling people. He's a troll.
Trap stands for Trap Singer, who are singers that usually cover Vocaloid
songs (normally on NicoNicoDouga).. These singers are famous for their
abilities to expand their vocal ranges from low to high through drastic
changes. In other words, they can sing and sound like both a female and a
male.
The first animation with the girl following cat reminded me of the scene
with Megurine Luka's "Secret", which she is also following a cat.
Interesting how I ended up seeing it in Lon's "Crime and Punishment" of all
things. XD
But...Valshe and 96neko aren't trap singers...well, okay 96neko moonlights
as a trap singer...but her voice is naturally husky... I have a hard time
thinking of Lon's voice as masculine though =X
@PotterCharm17 I think she's a girl. If you listen to her cover of 'Last
Night Good Night' then you'll see why I think Lon is a girl. It's almost
impossible for a male to sing those high notes.
OH MY GOD WHAT. That's not a guy singing... I'm sorry. She can't be a guy.
There are some pretty trap singers.. but she just sounds like a girl. No
way around it.
A little edit to Nico Vega's "Fury oh Fury" song, so that it gets close to sound very much similar to the version that appears on the launch trailer of the recently ...
Technically I assume that yes, and here's why. This is an edit of a
particular and technically not an official version ('cause is my edit of
something that I bought previously and therefore own legally speaking). So
no, there's no problem because you are not actually downloading property
that has a copyright on it. Another thing would be if you were downloading
the official album version of the song from Nico Vega's channel, that would
be illegal.
I think this re-edit needs slightly better timing. There's a very short
pause before Nico Vega launches into the song proper, but here, it's far
too short to place the instrumental intro from the trailer. It's a good
effort, mind you, but maybe a little better timing would make it better.
I knew what her name was I just couldn't put my finger on it lol, Yeah I
mean I know what she looks like I just couldn't really picture her but
Elizebeth does look similar to her in the picture. I look at it now and I
don't think so but whatever.
