Let's Compare: Super Cars - C64 vs. CPC vs. Atari ST vs. Amiga

And again one of my childhoods favorite C64 Games. Thankfully the floppy
disk still works. Just have to wait for my competition pro to arrive and
i'm set to relive my past.^^
+TheshadowsnoseI got the used CP . It doesn't work... of course... The only thing that works on the C64 is the firebutton, the joystick itself is dead on both ports. Of course the seller won't take it back. Jaaay! Seems like im buying one of the new ones next month. I can't afford them either, seems like were both poor dogs.
+mrblonde609 9 bucks is a normal price for a used competition pro... at least that's the price they ask on retro fairs over here. EBay really sucks for retro computers. Yes, the newly produced one is not cheap, but as far as I've herd, it's well made and it's brand new.I would love to get one or two of them, but can't afford it.One great pro for the competition pro is that almost all parts are easily replacable.I regularly have to change the microswitches in mine. 30 years of use leave their mark... I would expect that the new ones last for years without having to replace any parts, because everything is new.
+TheshadowsnoseIt's an old one. The ebayer called it an Atari Gamestick, because he didn't knew better. That's why i got it for 9 bucks. It didn't arrived yet, hopefully it still works good. I saw, that there are some new produced CP for 30-40 bucks.
