How beautiful! George, I love the heightened nervous energy of the first
movement which is carried through to the end. It flees itself. I am already
hearing the wind over the graves here, before you even get to the final
movement. Tempestuous, passionate. Everything appears in such complete
accord. You play the Marche Funebre with such nobility - it's Napoleonic! -
and its swan song is poignant and poised. Bravo George!
mhhm I think that´s different...the only chopin etudes I ve already played
are op10 nr 9 and 1(!) the waterfall was very hard(but harder than
winterwind(?)....all hands are different so maybe for some people) and I
worked on it again and again before I played it for audience. Yeah I just
wanted to say, that Fantasie Impromptu is abosuletly no problem for George
;D but he did not work on it so far.
There is no video of him playing the WinterWind Etude , of course he could
play Fantasie Impromptu , but in the past he took time for other
pieces(usually much harder :D).
Music the fountain of youth! Oh what the ear may hear is so sweet and yet
so challenging as the mind tries to make a picture of the sound. Thanks for
Sharing!
mancavi da un pò ,felice di riascoltarti - sempre comunque molto bravo
