Astrology- the belief that from birth your life is somewhat guided by celestial forces- it seems like harmless fun, but actually has far-reaching consequences.
Hate to break it to you, but Im a certified astrologer and also taught at
flamel college. You entire take on astrology is based on pop culture
representations, and you failed to mention the botanical, phytochemical and
geological evidence showing the the magnetic and gravitational forces
exerted by the planets orbits in relation to earth actually do effect
physical matter on earth.
smh @ the embarrassment that happens when so called intellectuals totally
shame what educated people stand for.
+Lowraith changing the subject? i just laid out that you totally missed the point of what me and other dude said to each other, which was a DIRECT response to what you said and therefore could not possibly have been a change of subject.Your lack of ability to even be a good troll is somewhat disheartening to me, i think the human species is starting to devolve.Ill be here if you would like to try harder though.
+Daoine McCorryChanging the subject, now, eh? Yeah, I can see the appeal in that, what with getting caught with your pants down just now and all. Gotta distract from the facts somehow.
+Lowraith hahaha. i never missed that. but you are unable to comprehend. alchemy is not and never was a religion you silly goose. (just another example of your ignorance not allowing you to follow along without having everything explained)he used religious texts as an example of literature. i responded to HIS EXAMPLE. neither of us ever said that alchemy was a religion, or that texts on alchemy are religious texts. the meaning behind my statement, clear to anyone that can comprehend highschool level conversation, was that "religious literature" is not a valid comparison to two phd chemists, because none of the religious texts were written by scientists. especially not respected ones like Dr. Ross mack.smh @ the fact that people are so desperate to launch their stupidity against an educated individual without acquiring learning themselves that they cant even follow the actual flow of the conversation they want so badly to make a point in.
+Daoine McCorryManiceureka did:there is literature about religionTo which you responded:yes but none of it is by respected scientistsAre you unable to keep up with your OWN conversation?
+Lowraith who said anything about religious texts? Are you even talking to me?You keep shooting random phrasses and other shit you magicked into existence and trying to put them on me.Who said anything about religious texts?
+Daoine McCorryyes but none of it is by respected scientists[ //www.pewforum.org/2009/11/05/scientists-and-belief/ ]Unless you're going to imply that only the ones who reject religious texts are REAL scientists...In which case, please, go ahead: amuse me with a No True Scotsman fallacy.Continue to make special pleads for your particular brand of bunk.
+Maniceureka "there is literature about religion"yes but none of it is by respected scientists, unless the point of it is to shoot down religions concets that defy science.Youre entire comment was a lot of "words" that really said nothing other than:"i want to continue running my mouth about something i have no knowledge of"
+Daoine McCorryThere's a huge amount of literature regarding religion as well. Doesn't mean it's real. And I don't have any comprehension of magic, because I haven't ruined my brain by ingesting psylocybian mushrooms on my spare time.Well, in your case I guess you ingested too much mercury. What was it again? Mercury, the water element representing the force of life or something? You know, the term "Mad as a hatter" originates from hat makers that got dementia from mercury poisoning since mercury was used in the production of felt. You can pretend to be an authority as much as you like and desperatedly cling to that post and say "you're ignorant because I'm a wizard who read books by other wizards".I know what alchemy is. I know that the alchemist Henning Brand discovered phosphorous when he was trying to make his own pee into gold. Alchemists are incompetent chemists looking for gold in things with similar colors. And that's more of an explanation of what alchemy is than you've given. You've only denied what everyone said and backed it up with your self proclaimed "authority and expertise".Don't hook yourself up on the word magic. I don't use the term because I actually believe you practice magic. So you don't get to call me ignorant.I use the term because you practice unproven pseudoscience. But it doesn't matter, since your "science" is not being taken seriously by real scientists, and your alternative medicine is not being offered as a treatment in hospitals. Unless you count a hut in the middle of a swamp down in Louisiana run by a witch doctor a "hospital".So I'll just leave you alone now. But if you meet the cheshire cat on one of your tea parties, tell him I said "Hi". I'm a huge fan of him!
+Lowraith Appeals to authority? lol, what authority did i appeal to? I am the authority here. That is plainly obvious. You somehow truly believe that someone who speaks about things they dont know about qualify as any type of equal to someone that is educated ?I feel bad for your ego, it has nowhere to go and nothing to do but pop.
+Maniceureka lmfao @ scrolls. Again you reveal your ignorance, yet again.1. spagyrics is not a process using alchemical methods. spagyrics is by definition the laboratory methods used in alchemy. your ignorance on this topic is honestly amusing.2. Like i said, if you choose to ignore the huge amount of literature on the subject, thats purely up to you, but dont expect to be respected for speaking off the cuff, and out of turn.3. spagyrics has nothing to do with magic. your ignorance is truly astounding.4. are you as baffling capable of ignoring things in front of your face as the average christian? As i said before i gave you the basic starting materials anyone is directed to, both written by Ph.D. chemists, which explains the laboratory processes in conjuntion with, and parallel to "modern chemistry". Someone like you, who has shown themself to have zero comprehension of the topic, has no choice but to start with base level texts such as those i listed, just to counteract all the mystical nonsene youve picked up from the pop culture interpretation of alchemy. Until you know what alchemy is, you cannot possibly argue for or against it, nor can you expect to have your fiction based opinions taken seriously. 5. My google+ account will be here until google+ and youtube are gone, so go take a day or two to read something, get on an adult level, and then return to the conversation. Im more than happy to debate whatever subject arises with someone that can at least enter into that debate with a clear mind on the issue up for debate. As long as you operate from a harry potter perspective, you can troll away and ill continue to point out that youre incapable of entering the conversation you so badly want to.6. if you really feel its too hard for you to scroll up and READ my previous comment, Ill retype the two suggestions for you.
+Daoine McCorry I didn't assume you were American, and nor did I attack it. Because it was a little joke that you didn't get. And I'm sorry I added a little irrelevant joke. I'm sure your eyes are strained from reading "scientific evidence" in the form of scrolls from the dark ages.As far as I'm concerned "Spagyrics" is a form alternative medicine using alchemical methods.Alternative medicine and alchemy is by definition pseudo science, so this is not my opinion on it.But seeing how you claim it to be a science, how about you present us some evidence? And don't tell me to buy and read a fat book of bullshit written by a tinfoil hat or a rogue scientist who've been huffing toxic fumes for too many years.I don't have to read the Bible to know that it's claim that Earth is only 6000 years is false. You are claiming that your magic is real, so the burden of proof is on you.So give me a readily availible source dedicated to real science and medicine. Like Mayoclinic which is a reliable source. Not a blog about "healing" or "Ayurveda" written by Chopra.
+Maniceureka Interesting how you attacked america when im not even american born. Also funny how you started talking about sports in general, and how americans view them, again irrlelevant.Further, if you choose not to look at the scientific evidence, youre opinion on the science is irrelevant, because it never surpasses the stage of being a conjectured opinion.par for the course on youtube: people with no knowledge on a subject trying to gain attention in the comments by walking circular arguments around the FACT that they are not knowledgable on the topic at hand.
+Daoine McCorry "yea that sport were they dress like samurai and run with a naked turkey in their arms to the end of the field, and sometimes they make the turnkey fly off osmeones foot into a gif telephone pole thing"That's actually what American football looks like to us Europeans who actually use our feets to kick an actual ball in the sport we call "Football".But to the Americans defence, they at least claim their whacky activity to be a sport. Which is harmless (or at least the players know what they're getting themselves into). But you claim your whacky activities to be science, and "Spagyric" is even calling itself "medicine".And that makes you a potentially dangerous quacksalver to sick people who doesn't know any better.I'm sure you are well meaning, but sometimes that isn't enough.
+Daoine McCorryLmao... nothing you just said made any sense.Oh, so YOU haven't studied European alchemy then? I see.And everything you just pulled off googleWe can both see by the time stamp difference between our comments that this was obviously not the case. Nice try, though. Many concepts in alchemy are heavily based on reasoning by metaphor. Chemists are what alchemists become when they grow up.And Flamel College is such a bullshit school. Come on, ghosthunting courses? Bigfoot studies? Lol.Your credibility was in serious jeopardy just based on your nutty astrology certification but it is non-existent after your admission that you taught at Make-Believe U.
+Lowraith "distilling herbs to get their quintessence"honestly im sorry but that one made me laugh. that sounds about as absurd as me explaining football like this:"yea that sport were they dress like samurai and run with a naked turkey in their arms to the end of the field, and sometimes they make the turnkey fly off osmeones foot into a gif telephone pole thing"
+Lowraith Lmao... nothing you just said made any sense. Youre the smug one with zero operative knowledge on spagyrics. And everything you just pulled off google to make it seem like you studied it only exposed you because you failed to realize that youre not even going to find anything legitimate searching google. But since youre so ignorant i will point you in the direction of two books any idiot can read, both written by Ph.D. chemists, and two of the most respected spagyrists on the planet at this point in time"way of the crucible" - robert allen bartlett"alchemical essays" - dr. ross mackI apologize to you for whatever psychological insecurities you have that make you feel the need to act like you have a grasp on things that you dont, but im not offended. I will simply offer you the opportunity to grasp some understanding instead of continuing to embarrass yourself by shooting off nonsense that does nothing but expose you.
+Daoine McCorryYour smug assumptions are hilarious. I studied alchemy a LONG time ago. I know about distillation of essence. Blood, bile, phlegms, etc. I understand the concept of distilling herbs and minerals five times to get their quintessence. I even understand how a FEW of the concepts in alchemy were precursors for the methods we use to create modern drugs that contain the curative properties of the materials they came from, with far fewer of the undesired side effects. But those were the rare gems in a sea of crap. It's hokum. Welcome to the 21st century.
+Jorge Osorto lol, really? do tell me how there is a national certification organization, that you have to be certified by in order to sell your services in astrology? If you cant comprehend and operate the geometry and other mathematics involved you cant possibly do it. Which is why you have to be certified... so i supposed this certifying body, myself, and everything else relevant are just figments of your imagination?
+Lowraith actually flamel college teaches spagyrics, alchemy is a somewhat overused term used by people that dont know much. So let me ask you this: what is spagyrics/alchemy?I can practically gurantee that you dont know. You probably have some convoluted notion of gold making that youve gleaned from decades of fiction. So being uneducated on the topics at hand, what makes you think your dismissal of them is 1. relevant, or2. going to be taken into consideration?
You taught at the Nicholas Flamel College of ALCHEMY, and you want us to consider you an "educated" person?[ //www.fungamesedu.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Cant-stop-laughing.jpg ]
He said astrology but which astrology is he talking about because there are different astrology charts depending on the culture. Like Western astrology, Chinese astrology, Egyptian astrology, Arabic astrologyand many more...So what I am trying to say is which of these does he mean! Do you understand ?
Thanks for the explanation, I know the difference now but what I meant was 'astrology' western astrology which it is, I guess. Because there's different types of astrology. Thanks anyway.
Vedic astrology is Hindu astrology which is 23 degrees behind and it doesn't use planets like Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. And many other aspects are different which you can find in my book "astrology @ the speed of light" on lulu
Hi Kapiel...This is really good information on aspects...I have a question
regarding conjunction...U say that in conjunction the planet with lowest
degree will have the more say. Now suppose MOON (0.45 deg) & JUPITER (7
deg) are conjunct in a house. Here the moon will have more say, but Moon is
in infant state powerless and Jupiter is in young state more powerful than
moon ...So how come moon will have more say ....
Now if MARS(24 deg ) and JUPITER(17 deg) are in CAPRICORN ...JUPITER here
is in neech sign .... and at lowest degree than MARS ,JUPITER has more say
than MARS...that means Mars will not be able cancel debilitation of
Jupiter(neech bhang raj yog) cos Mars is powerless and with lowest deg.
Jupiter has more control....
@fay SSun has bright rays that brightens with warmth therefore sun would bring only positiveness not negativeness such as crime, and murder. All other major, biggest, effective, powerful planets like Jupiter and Saturn has to bow to sun because of sun's positive powerful energy.
In the middle east, specifically " iran" women are being bullied, and murder and that's not authoritive doing this. This has nothing to do with sun aspecting.
Your obviously an authority on astrology so please explain the royal
obsession with the arc of El and the god who bears the same name could you
explain the gazing of the twelve gemstones of the ephod?
+Warlock Marky We love that question! NEW Classes on Urim and Thummim as well as Gemstone Gazing based on Exodus 28:30 and Deuteronomy 33:8 start in January 2016!
My zodiac sign is Ophiuchus in the geocentric astro, Cetus in the
solarcentric so what one is more correct because we count on Eridanus for
modern 88 astro!?
