The constitution is not a "living" document. Government nearly always get's it wrong and if given a free hand would become tyrannical in an instant that is why the check & balances and many roadblocks. The constitution is designed I believe to make it painful for those that would run/ruin our lives. Thank the founders for not trusting the popular vote and establishing the electoral college as well! More important today than ever. Mr Levinson is very intelligent but I fear his wisdom is not as advanced. His opinions may sound reasonable and may even resonate with some but they are ultimately an attack on liberty and citizen rights.
