I been in the blasting and painting industry for bout 15 years. I have been
in the QC/QA department for about 5 months. We take Chloride, Nitrate,
Sulfate test on our projects. We take white rag blotter test on our air
compressors before we blast and before we apply our coating. We also take
anchor profiles after our workers sandblast or blast using 2040 black
beauty mesh. Our workers brush coat (stripe coat) all the welds, tight
areas too insure we get our coating application on the whole proje
But what I'm getting at is I'm thinking bout going get NACE Certified
(level 1) too start and on too level 2 & level 3 afterwards. I'm thinking
that I got the experience too do this. What do you think? Do you think I
got enough experience too do this testing?
I really do take pride in my line of work (QC/QA Inspection). I've delt
