I was born and raised in New Orleans. I went Saturday night, with a large group of people, there was 7 of us. nothing really scared us bad so Me and my friends were kinda pretending to scream, only a few things made me think WTF? Okay see, I was holding onto my friend Issac going down the stairs to the basement part and kinda lost my footing, my friend kinda stepped down behind me but something kinda pulled me to the side and I grabbed onto the rail to like, not fall. I was like HOLY CRAP!

NONE OF THE SHIT 13TH GATE MAKES COMES OUT OF A BOX. FOR THE BILLIONTH TIME, THEY MAKE THEIR SETS. YOU DONT WHEN THE TITLLE 2 YEARS IN A ROW BY GOING TO WALMART AND GETTING HALLOWEEN STUFF. ALL HAUNTED HOUSES HAVE THINGS THAT ARENT MADE BY THE COMPANY. SO, STOP SAYING THAT 13TH GATE GETS THEIR STUFF OUT OF A BOX BECAUSE OF ALL THINGS, IT WOULD BE HOUSE OF SHOCK. really??i have stated my facts & proven yours to be bogus...& btw 13th gates sets come bought & paid for. they come out of a box with directions on how to put together. House of Shock builds their own sets. 13th gate has failed to copy what House of Shock has created. no money can buy what HoS builds for their sets. also HoS cast is by far superior to the 13th gates always on break looking cast. & don't bother to message me again with your petty claims.

LOL yeah well with 36k fans/likes on facebook it isn't hard for 13th gate to spam the voting polls of top haunts. & btw travel channel labled House of Shock #1 most extreme halloween tradition not the 13th gate. also House of Shock was on Vh1's most metal moments at #75 & they are not even a band......so yeah 13th gate doesn't compair....LOL come on they have a pirate scene for crying out loud....& on top haunts it was nation wide NOT world wide.

house of shock is #1 in New Orleans while 13th Gate rocks the title world wide according to Top Haunts magazine (a voting poll was done) and if you arent really gonna like that then let me also so they are Louisianas Ultimate haunted house (named by HauntWorld Magazine, MTV,Travel Channel, etc). All those companies have said 13th Gate is either 1 of the best in the nation or THE best in the Nation. But, I have heard House of Shock is very good.

lol yes they do. don't get mad because House of Shock is far superior to your beloved 13th lame with the lazy cast & boxed sets. btw there are companies that specialize in making sets for the haunt industry, i've seen them & 13th lame has alot of what i seen. every set at HoS is made by hand, not a few, ALL. even the pyro is hand made. so bye now. you lost. face it. get over it. you are speaking to someone who knows better.

O MY GOD.i went tonight...those who hant been and wanna go...well my parents dropped me off alone w/ my friends and im 12 so basically i think all ages can go...annyway, it was lots of fun!!!!! and btw when u get ur tickets DO NOT FORGET to say (4 example) BLOODY MARRY 2 tickets please...u get a 10$ disscount if u say that...me and my friend got ripped off cuz no1 told us about that >(

Now don't get me wrong, House of Shcok is goes had and some say 13th Gate is scarier, other House of Shock. But in my opinion 13th Gates detail and thought of their haunt squashes House of Shock like Abraham Lincoln to the South. House of Shock is just demonic things they yanked out of the Bibles DON'T. Go to the 13th Gate and look at there MANY reviews by other people.

I WENT TO THIS LAST WEEK OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT i was freaked when we finally got there and my family said that people ACTUALLY died in there and there is ghosts.. i was like... umm can we go home now? LOL after we got through this we went to the House of Shock IN THE SAME NIGHT lol it was funny, but also scary. And i ALSO saw the boy that the man is talking about.

My girl and I think differently. The only thing the Mortuary got is the building is haunted and they use that to get you on your toes. We aren't afraid of ghosts, and their actors weren't as intense as House of Shock's. We love House of Shock because it's so extreme, pyro-technics everywhere, and the Church . . . the church alone owns this haunted house.

Gosh I love living in Louisiana! No one can beat our heritage, culture, or history! I want to go here so bad. I am a strong believer in the supernatural. I've had a lot of supernatural experiences myself. My family has a strong line in thd dealing of paranormal things......if ya know what I mean. Anyways I LOVE Louisiana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

about the 13 gates is not true they dnt give u ur money back i went two times already i make it to the end n never return my money n alot of ppl make it thru n dnt they give ur money back thats a lie.. wat i heard theres one in new orleans that if u make it thru the end they give ur money back but not 13 gates!!!

The actors are what create a very close feeling, like.. too close for comfort. And when you have one screaming at you, it scares you. But it is dangerous. I've gotten hit.. and hugged. Actually pushed, not hit. They also sign a waiver that says they can take care of them in case of it.

This place absolutely ROCKS....I saw that ghost he was talking about. A little guy with a whit face and black outline body, all he did was jump and let me see him and run. And the blowers he poked his head out and poof gone, no makeup or whatever on the material.....NO ELSE SAW HIM!!
