2015 Kia K900 - WR TV POV Test Drive
Much like the Hyundai Genesis, of which the K900 is the mechanical twin of the outgoing 2014 model, Kia is fighting an uphill battle to convince luxury car ...
The K900 is larger than the Genesis and smaller than the Equus, my question to the test driver is which would he prefer, the smaller but better handling Genesis or the larger and more luxurious K900. Dumbass.

If your S class is sooo much better, then you have no reason to the fear
this car. Not everybody was born as a billionaire, like you guys in the
comment section.
I dont get why people are always that "angry" when other carmakers than
Audi-BMW-Mercedes make a luxury car.
Why not? Its nice to have a variety of cars you can choose from.
There are dozens of hatchbacks you can choose from. Why shouldn't there be
more cars in the luxury class? Some people dont want to pay 80k on a base
A8, while other cars are fully loaded for almost 50% of the price. And if
you buy a car just because of its badge then you are just insecure and
pathetic. You think it is important what other people think of you?
But that ..... that is your problem, not KIA's. Dont blame the carmakers
for your low self-confidence!
Yeah, ran that because that's what I could afford back then. It's been
sold. I have whole new AQ system being installed. Let me guess, you are the
reject that thinks boss, crunch, sony xplod and all the other shit brands
are the bees knees huh? And you also think that the mtx jackhammer or the
13w7 are the best subs that ever existed? Have you even heard of AQ, AA,
DC, SA, Skar, or Fi? If you have not your argument is invalid. You are the
exact person this guy makes fun of /watch?v=mEHGaAhB_9g
The irony in all of this is, anyone from the old school car audio days
knows what, Crunch/Hifonic's are capable of, and how underrated they are
for the money. Yes they stamp peak power output on Crunch amps, but for the
most part they will run RMS numbers of half that. I run Crunch 4 channels,
and every time I do, people tell me how loud, noisy and crappy they're, and
when its tuned, they have no idea I actually used some "Crappy" amp. I
dogged your system because you still know nothing.
Go to our website home page and scroll to the bottom. Click on the link
that says "Knowledge Base" and then click on "Car Amplifiers" and finally
click on "Amplifier Classes (Topology)" which will explain everything. If
you want to run 12" subs, go with Class D monoblock amplifiers. If you want
to run speakers, most go with a 4 or 6-channel class AB amp. Consider
reading our knowledge base so you can get more familiar with car audio.
Dogging on a system that I bought with no knowledge of car audio. Cool. Sad
that you actually know maybe something but you run equipment that will
never put out rated power. Cheap? Stupid? who knows. You still tune
everything by ear don't you? and use 4ga to run your Crunch 10000gigawat
amp. Which is ok due to it only putting out probs 700w
To find the estimated power of an amplifier at it's lowest impedance, use
this formula. You can find out if these amps will give you the power you
need. Again, this is a very rough estimate. *Multiply 14.4V by how many
amps the fuses on the amp equal when combined, and multiply that by 0.8 for
class D amps or 0.6 for A/B class amps.
You ran a Fosgate Prime, and probably still have it, your argument is void,
and I really don't care if you list every "SQL" brand to mankind, if I
wanted to I could run VVME and sound just as good, if not better for a 1/4
of the price.... I will stick with my Maxxsonic's gear that I have been
running since 1998.
The enclosure is more important than the amplifier and power rating. If you
want your current subs to sound their best, have a professional make a
custom enclosure for you. If you don't like the sound, then upgrade your
subs and make sure a custom enclosure is made for them as well.
what is better the Crunch DRA1150.2 or the Autotek AXL1650.2? They both
have 2x35 amp fuses and theyre both class ab with similar specs and theyre
both maxxonics. Should I get whatevers cheaper or does the v-drive
technology really make a difference in efficiency and reliability
Class D amplifiers are more efficient and take less amperage to use than
Class AB. However, some people prefer the sound from an A/B amp vs a Class
D amp when it comes to full range speakers. If you are running subs, just
go with Class D.
If you have two Boston G2 woofers, they need 600W total. So, if you want to
bridge a 2-channel amp to a 4 ohm load, then wire those Dual 4 ohm subs to
a 4 ohm load, it should work fine, but you wont be getting maximum power.
PPI 900.4 isn't compliant either, yet we all know how fast they're still
flying off shelves... Just because a company doesn't pay to certify their
products, doesn't necessarily mean they're pieces of shit.
