Forget treated with more 'Honour'! All these shysters in the so-called medical'p'rofession need to do is'their job'! People within the military come and go and get transferred in and out of units and active duty as well as the military as a whole and it could be that he was not referring to the entirety of his unit being killed at one time by one specific event, but instead that every Marine within his platoon at the time is now KIA from several different events occurring over a long course of time and in that sense he is the sole survivor.

I believe this man, but some of this does sound made up. For instance, he lost his entire platoon? I don't even know the last time there was a 100% casualty rate at the platoon level. It would have made news. Other than that, great story. By the way though, the war wasn't 10 times worse back then. 2010/2011 have been the 2 deadliest years in the Afghan War. August of this year was actually the deadliest month in the war.

its very sad but sooo true something needs to be done about this but ppl think well if you get arrested then u much have don't something wrong. Its not innocent until proven guilty its, GUILTY until proven innocent and even if the charge is dropped you have to pay to have it come off your record and do you get anything back for you time spent in jail and the money for your lawyer... NOPE!!!! I Call Bull shit!!

I graduated from Infantry School, at Ft. Benning in 1997, I felt like a man, I came home from Iraq in 2005, I felt like I had been robbed of my dignity and honor by tit for tat atrocities that do not deserved to be called war, I constantly have a dull empty feeling in my gut, and nobody really fights for freedom anymore

I also was in jail and recieved no meds, and my wife dropped off all my meds. What were my charges? concieled weapon charge, and was later dropped, but my bail was $10,000 why because I was a danger, because I was a combat veteran. The kid behind me 7X armed B&E 2K signature bond signed himself out of jail !!!!

It likely could have been in Iraq... I think the highest death rate in a company EVER in Iraq was I think 1/3 or 2/3... it seems like a big difference, but thats A LOT anyways.
