Why go with a V6? It makes more power initially than the 6.2l but lacks big
power potential. The V6 only pleases people that buy cars with no intention
to make it faster. The 6.2 can easiy make double the horsepower with forced
induction while this V6 comes already near maxed out... I seem to remember
Dodge making a 707 hp 6.2l, hmm.
I'm waiting until January to see if they announce a v8. I'll buy a new one,
and every accessory that comes with it, if it has a V8. A 5.0 ecoboost
would be great.
I fear that their plan is to sell the 2017 as a v6 only, and then sell the
v8 in 2018. This way they get to show off their admittedly really good v6
engine, and they'll sell a ton of v6 Raptors regardless, thus getting the
EPA off their backs for a little bit.
Please Ford, your v6 looks great, and I'm sure people will buy it, but give
us options! Pretty please! Thanks
