if you are not very into puzzles, then no, you could just skip it. About
portal 2, it may not have a lot of replayability for the main campaign, BUT
believe me, it DOES have a LOT of replay value if you explore the Workshop,
where there are Hundreds (literally) of user created maps, both for single
and coop. So you should check that out. Portal 2 It is a great game, and
with custom user maps (and a VERY big community) it has almost endless
replay value. ;)
Playing it right now after downloading it from PS +, it's a really fun game
so far. A lot of reviewers were like "herp derp not as good as Portal" but
give no reason's why. As for the humour I've had a couple of laughs and it
wasn't like Glados had me in tears. The dimensions thing really adds a lot
to the game but I wish they went more out on the environments because they
had a really cool "cat in the hat" feel going for it which wasn't really
expanded on.
I didn't like the puzzles, relied to much on platforming, and let me tell
you the platforming ain't very good. Portal is one of my favorite games of
all time, but this game got me annoyed. I enjoyed the concepts, but the
puzzles frustrated me quite a bit, since I figured them early on, but it
took me several tries to solve because of slippery platforming.
Hmm... after spending the last hour trying to get my payment to work on
steam I think I might just get it on a torrent. Why the hell can't steam
link directly to the Paypal log in page like most websites? It would be
much easier!... I've got a headache.... I even attempted to use my bank
card directly and that didn't work either!
Now you're thinking with inner dimentions, lol but it does have the same
feeling of wonder that you won't actually get to see in the sense that in
Portal one would wonder what would happen if you shot a portal into a
living organism, in this it's how many times can you swap dimentions before
the universe explodes.
Tsk, tsk you ARE REALLY SMUG I mean WOW dude your narcissistic, as am I.
You think of yourself very highly. I think of myself very highly. One big
difference between me and you is I know I'm an asshole, you don't. I
suppose that makes me more smug.
Well, I downloaded Hard Corps: Rising (aka Contra 2011) and I am very
addicted to that game. I am not too crazy about puzzle games since Portal 2
doesn't have replayability solo-wise. So, chances are, I wouldn't care
about this game, right?
weight, speed and velocity. i havent played the game but, surely in the
context of this, unless things are going in a circle, speed and velocity
will be the same thing? couldnt think of another sciencey word?
to be honest, it's okay, but it's no portal. however, some of the puns are
so bad, that i feel physical pain from them... if you 've played the first
blue hallway, then you'll know...stupid shoveling...
How is he smug, it's the truth. People argue about the most pointless
things on here, pretty much everything EXCEPT THE DAMN VIDEO! You seem like
one of the idiots that jszekerj is talking about!
no, it is definitely not better. It is good though, but just plain good,
however if you like puzzle games, you will not regret playing it, and yes,
as they say, the ending is VERY disappointing.
@ 3:16 FALSE: momentum = speed*mass. If the mass changes by 1000X, and the
momentum is maintained (as she said), then the speed will DECREASE by 1000X
and the safe will drop to the ground immediately (and not go through the
glass). What she meant to say is that the SPEED is maintained, but then
this implies adding X1000 times the energy. Then you either break the law
of conservation of energy, or you somehow have this much energy at your
disposal. The latter is the game's implied idea, for which they give no
explanation...
Kim sounds hot and all but she's trying too hard to sound smart, which
makes her a fucking dumb ass who cares what other dumb asses think. Hey
Kim, you need to narrate with a more relaxed tone, just explain what you're
doing with ease in your voice. I know you can do it. That would make you
perfect. This video makes you seem like just another dumb ass hoe trying to
sound like a smart nerd. Pathetic.
With regards to the safe's momentum: p=mv Where p is momentum, m is mass,
and v is velocity. Its momentum doesn't stay the same otherwise you'd see
the safe slow down mid-flight; increasing momentum is what would allow it
to break the glass by increasing mass and maintaining velocity. A little
scientific pedantry :)
No, because I'm not gonna make a rebuttal over a dumb fucking conversation.
I'm not gonna reply anything nasty just because you sent something fucking
retarded comment. And I didn't attack you for no reason. You attacked the
one guy, and I made a joke. Who's the moron now?
Not really. Just the co-creater wasn't too big of a fan of portal 2. Valve
made Portal 2 aimed more at the fans of portal 1 (And did a fantastic job)
However Kim wanted to make a game for a broader audience. Something tells
me this game is going to be JUST as fantastic.
Lol, why even play games on a PC that is so retarded it can't even run a
basic simple game like this one.. Just upgrade it? And if you don't have
money for it, why the hell even bother gaming on a PC, which is by far the
most expensive machine to play games on?
Ask yourself if you would have ever made that comment - or a comment like
it - if she was a dude. I'll bet you wouldn't have. It's people like you
that scare girls away from games. Please - for the love of god - get the
hell over yourself.
1. always play the game for the story otherwise u get easily disappointed .
2. what is shitting your mouth up. 3. gamespot is all about commentary
first. 4. take some anger management. 5. no one likes you so dont come back.
by the way , i dont like this role model of games , (puzzle) , why dont use
tnt , ak47 , and so on ....after search from ggle IGS 2007: Kim Swift -
'Our Journey From Narbacular Drop To Portal'
she sounds pretty normal to me.. you're the only pathetic little twat I
see.. seriously though, because you don't like her narrating it's pathetic?
grow the fuck up asshole.
well it took me 400 min to finish it.. so i can say that the controls were
too dificult.. in this game the controls are harder than the puzzles..
anyway its fun to play.
Never said it *cuts* anything. Never claimed a mouse pad itself will
increase your mouse's precision either. If you use a mouse in the same area
for a period of months/years, you will notice the finishing on a table will
deteriorate from the constant friction. This CAN in fact effect a laser
mouse's ability to read the surface of the table which can cause precision
problems (negligible to the average computer user) and don't make me
explain that not everyone has finished/quality desk surfaces.
True, but a good majority of sonic fans GREATLY enjoy SA2(B). I haven't
played Gen or the pre-dreamcast ones, so I can't speak for those. Heroes
was pretty bad, but at worst, its a tie with shadow the hedgehog. And both
of those are FAR below SA2. I'm not saying SA2 was the greatest thing ever.
I'm simply saying it was one of the better 3D sonic games, and doesn't
deserve to be mixed in with Heroes, shadow the hedgehog and that 2006 sonic
game that's apparently even worse.
I'm going to have to question your gaming behaviour if moving your mouse
around actually *cuts* through your desk. Or have you been playing since
Tennis for Two? And a mouse pad doesn't increase the precision of my mouse,
that's why I get laser mouses in the first place.
Really? The moment I got a laser mouse (pretty much as soon as the first
one came out that didn't cost a fortune) I didn't need a mouse pad any
more. You all still using sucky optical mouses? (I won't even consider
conventional ball mouses :P)
Not if your desk isn't made of some indestructible element that doesn't
wear away from a mouse sliding on it for years. Mousepad's are a sound
investment for anybody who wants precise control in.. well.. anything that
requires it.
We could have two top comments. One saying "I use a mousepad" and the other
one saying "I don´t use a mouse pad" so we can see what people
actually--Wait, that idea is totally fucking stupid and wouldn´t accomplish
anything.
Why does Quantum Conundrum look like Portal? This is the first time I have
heard or seen this game, and the first thing that popped into my head was
Portal. Good fucking job Square Enix, I still don't like you.
I don't understand why blizzard price the digital stuff the same as the
regular stuff.. shouldn't it be cheaper since they don't have to spend
money on the CDs, packaging and other shit like that?
if you've done a stick f truth hard news ive gt to see it is it out?! i
must know oh and btw im looking forward to it thats why i want to see it
heh heh well lets see shall we?
You know that the best DLC for QuantumConondrum would be adding a
possibility/tool for user made levels but knowing SquareEnix that will be
in DLC number 15...if ever.
My Desk is made of Glass , so i need a mouse pad or else the laser just
pass through it and doesnt colapse with anything solid, so No mouse pad =
No mouvement
I actually use a phonebook ontop of a stack of printer paper ontop of a CD
binder LOL
Quantum Conundrum Walkthrough Part 6 (PC, XBLA, PSN)
When you, as a young boy, are dropped off to visit your uncle, you notice something's wrong. First, he's not there to greet you. Second, there's the explosion that ...

hey man i think i might know where you had a problem, if it is where the 2
tables aren't in proper sync, when jumping to the other momentarily speed
time up.
