If you're saying you have online access already on one account, then the code you get from the premium edition of the box will just add on premium features. The premium edition comes with a single code that has everything, no separation for online access or anything. You can resell either disc you have, but just keep in mind that the disc won't have online access as you would've already redeemed it. You can't resell or put online access back into your old disc.

As far as I know, this disc is the same thing. The only difference between this and the regular copy is that this one has premium in it. If you sell your regular disc and get this, then this will be the same exact thing, no need to redo anything. And there are no shortcuts to the game. You only get map dlc and that's it. You still have to rank up and get all your guns. and you do have to download all the updates. It took me like 6 hours lol.

Besides, in the end, what matters is that we have fun when we play games, not be elitists when we discuss gaming. Lastly, play where your friends are. If they're on 360, play on 360. Most peoples PC could play this game on Medium quality which the graphics look like shit on. In that regard...consoles have way better graphics. Of course if you have a high end enough PC to play it on high or ultra...then PC is the way to go.

As long as whoever used the code has an account that isn't affiliated with any other account, you share the PSN account and download the pass and stuff from the "downloads" section in the PSN store.

My father was recently on a trip to the US, and he doesn't speak Englih very well. I asked him to get the game for me, so he went to a GameStop to buy it. The salesman tricked my dad, charged the full price from the game and sold him a pre-owned copy, without warning him. Now I have a Pre-owned Battlefield 3 Premium Edition worth shit. Just a shame, since GameStop has always been a renowed and reliable store...They can eat shit and die.

I have to admit it's a smart idea but when i got an e-mail back after asking him if there was anyway I could possibly get a code for free all he told me was that I could buy a code from the PSN store. I had battlefield 3 and had no space for there huge update that they asked for me I deleted all my battlefield 3 history to have space for it thinking it will delete saved games and guns and stuff NOT! it delets my history of using my activation code for online so I got no multiplayer now and I cant use the code again...

make sure the password you made for your own Origin account has numbers (can be 1 or more numbers), has a uppercase letter and a lowercase letter. The password should not be too long or too short (or you could just Google search it)

+Tye Bauman The resolution is not as good on console, and at some parts, the difference in graphics is obvious.On PC, you can change the graphical settings, get rid of that annoying motion blur, etc. There is mouse and keyboard support, as well as controller support on the PC. My friends and I have all moved over from Xbox to PC in the past 3 years.. The last few moved over last month. They're all enjoying catching up on the awesome PC experiences they've missed all these years with Metro, BF3, Starcraft, XCOM, Planetside, and the F2P games. We've all built similar PCs for around $700.. 7950, FX 8350, 8GB DDR3, SSD etc.. They're already built to outperform XB1 and PS4, and they'll be cheaper over time when you consider game and peripheral prices, and XBL fees on top.

Agree 100 percent with this debate. PC is the only way to go! I build my gaming PC just about 3 years ago now. Every game is smooth as silk that I play and I play BF3 on max quality max effects and push over 60 frames in most cases. I have an i5 2500k overclocked to 4GHz, 8GB of memory and an GTX460 video card overclocked to GTX560 speeds. I think all told it set me back around $700 to build. BF4 is going to be released and all I have to do is upgrade my video card to a GTX760 for around $250!

my PC costed me about $670 (not including keyboard/mouse) and i built it myself. I'm not sure about the exact hardware specs because my uncle helped me with it but what I know is that it has the intel I5, 2tb hard drive, and 8g ram. I started PC gaming with guild wars and when gw2 came out my current laptop couldnt even run low settings without lagging. with my new pc i can go into an area with 40+ people on max settings without a stutter. only thing leaning me towards console is exclusives

I don't agree with you about the price. The best $700 PC I could find had an i5, 8 gig ddr3, and an nvidia geforce 660. I am pretty sure that that won't run battlefield 3 at 720p and 30 FPS with no lag much less 1080p at 60 FPS plus the graphics card is almost obsolete with 700s already out. If you want battlefield with 1080p and 60 FPS and no lag you will spent around $1400. Also having one system for 7 years is not always a bad thing because developers can streamline the games.

Now let's talk Refresh rate (fps). Anything over 24fps running steadily will look smooth and responsive, want an example, go to the theatre, that's the refresh rate most run at 24-30. The problem isn't the value it's the drops and peaks, a PC game @ 80fps that drops to 40fps or peaks to 100fps even for a fraction of a second will look jerky and stuttery. To maintain steady fps requires less background tasks and a high speed connection, and still isn't gauranteed.

Now let's talk controls, PC clearly has the advantage with aiming due to the lightning fast and accurate mouse. However, console controllers have the advantage with fluid and responsive movement due to the twin joysticks. One could learn to master either though putting them on equal footing. In closing, it's really a matter of personal preference, PC is more versatile in general, consoles are all about convenience. For this game I call them all equal.

i switch to pc 2 year ago and went you start playing with a keyboard and mouse you need to go slowly i start playing with a controller 1st and some time i decide to play with Mouse and Keyboard and now i'm a K&M addicted because i can't play on controller anymore lol. switch sometime to keyboard and mouse and went you wont to play whit a controler play whit it but went you get the trik whit a keyboard and mouse you will never come back to controler.

Due to the incredible amount of misinformation here i'll clarify, first off let's talk Resolution, using 720p as a baseline. Resolution has EVERYTHING to do with the size of your screen and how far you sit from it, want an example, go to the store and look at a 55" screen 1080p from 6 feet away, now go look at a 32" screen 720p from 6 feet away there will be no difference in clarity between the two. argue all you like this is a fact.

Hmm, I'd say a graphics card upgrade interval of 3-5 years is more accurate than your 1 year claim. Also, you should build it yourself, much cheaper.....it really evens out in the end, factor in the reality that you have to pay xbox live every year and that I get most of my games for 60% cheaper than you do, and the whole time I'm enjoying better gameplay and graphics.
