Are u able to fill up the card past say 8gb? I had the same card and it would show 64 gb but wouldn't write more than 8gb because it was an 8gb card formatted to read as 64gb. If you ran into that problem report back to amazon.

But here in Austria "Drone Laws" are even more strict than in Germany I think.Basicly you cannot fly here.There is general split into: toy: <79joule (265gr mass) of energy and <30m flying height => free to fly when you dont hurt peoplenormal RC model: everything under 5kg and without cam or cam only for direct FPV flying (no recording allowed)unmanned aerial vehicle (ulfz): you need license from "Austrocontrol" which costs around 400€ and takes 6month to get!here you can fly in different categories of area and based on the danger level you need normal "phantom type" drones in unsettled area up to fully redundant everything (FC, Battery,...) if you wanna fly over houses or even people.I got me a lic for phantom2 type so I can fly in most rural locations where I dont fly over houses, or I fly with very tiny miniqudas which are TOY classified.So it's not easy to fly here as a guest and stay legal.It's not prosecuted heavily here - as long as you stay out of trouble I guess - and be polite and ask for flight permission by the locals...greets,RCSchim

+mark82101 longrange plane is cool :-) quad's are realativly cheap and you can get into FPV nice and easy. plane is harder to start and land in FPV...

+Hoggdoc You don't need a DVR here. On both devices (TX and RX Raspi) you can record the video stream onto SD card. The video stream is very low bandwith and efficient. 7mins only generate 100mb MP4 files. So quality is not priority here...To the range I need to make another test in better (interference free) environment. plus I'm not allowed to fly more than 500m here in austria. I could drive over the border to hungary and test there...
