hahaha! You, and this Codebabes project is awesome! All my respect for you
girls teaching the code to people who would otherwise just watch a game of
football.
+Blahhh wait.. in hindsight we might get a bunch of sports games and apps that ar'nt really necessary and will hog our data waves and cause us lag for things that are more important, like Caturbait or Beerhunter.com Stop what your doing! nah, jk. carry on.
This is a disgrace. Women in the video gaming scene are already so poorly
represented. Putting women in sexy clothing and strutting them around
talking about coding is not inclusion, it's objectification which at best
perpetuates the stereotype that women aren't worth listening to unless they
are pretty/half clothed and, at worst alienates girls like me and others
from wanting anything to do with the industry. As a web designer this is
close to my heart. How am I supposed to be taken seriously when assholes
like you come along and make a complete bollocking joke of something many
of us take years of uni and hundreds of thousands of dollars to educate
ourselves in. You should be ashamed.
+Katie Gall "half clothed and, at worst alienates girls like me" Dont be mad with the author of the video, they are only taking advantage of the system, dont care what others think of you, be who you are and be proud of it, "Stereotype"" a simplified and standardized conception or image invested with special meaning and held in common by members of a group:" who cares what any one group thinks ? do what you want went you want, and dont give a f**k what anyone else thinks, these things only apply to us if we let them, but at the end of the day sticks and stones, and if your profile pic is really a pic of you then I see no problem at all, so just be you and anyone who tries to put you down then you know your better than them because you do not have to resort to such actions to make yourself feel better, at the end of the day what I am trying to say is do what you want in life and proove them wrong through actions and not words and I am sure you will get to where you want to be in life, anyway my rant is over, it just annoys me when people put themselves down over stuff like this, so just shrug it off and dont give it a second thought.be who you want to be regardless of what others think
JavaScript Tutorial: Random Numbers
During coding in JavaScript, you may need to add a random factor to the whole thing. This tutorial will show you how. The first half of the video is explanation of ...
thanks. One question. How can I load an existing .js & .css at the same
time in one page? Even with a "web part" the code doesn't work because it
erases every time. Thanks again.
In the video I show how to link one .js file - you do the same thing for
additional js files. And it is the same for additional css files. Good
luck! Peter
Hello Greg, Thx for all your amazing DW-tutorials - they are really great!
But regarding your instructions on how to display a photo or video in a
popup window by adjusting the browser window, this doesn't work with
Windows Internet Explorer 10. The Explorer 10 seems to ignore all these
adjustments and just displays the usual fully opened browser window
(Firefox, Chrome, Safari & Opera work properly). Would you have a clue?
Greetings from Germany - Joe
Thx for your reply. I can easily ignore it (IE), no doubt. But what about
all the people (using IE) looking at my Website? They would probably not
ignore IE as they don't know anything about the Problem. There should also
be another way of displaying photos or videos in a popup window. What
about the INFO BOX in DW. This should also work, I think.
