Air France Strike, airplanes at Paris CDG Airport (Grève Air France, avions à CDG)
As you know, the Air France's pilots are in strike to protest against some changements within the company. As a result, a lot of airplanes are parking on the ...
HelloThanks for comment the video:)I agree with you, the old livery should be changed for the new, maybe they will do, the airplanes aren't flying, they can't say that they don't have time:D
Thank you for your comment:)I thought that it could be a good idea to share this rare event all around the world

+FlightChannel really!? are you a Russian or American etc against the Finnish Technology!? also that was a compliment and not just a mock! becasue at least the old NOKIA phones were so tough that they could stand almost anything and many or at least some of them are still working and well / good! God bless! love you! : )
+Beryllium I was a flight control tech on those. There is in fact a Rate Sensor Assembly (RSA) in the wheel well that will do just that in flight but it is disabled when the aircraft has a weight on wheels condition.
+Beryllium F-15s are equiped with LASTE, but it doens't turn rudders that way. That was a pure pilot reaction. They do that like people use to break theyr car as soon something get in the way
+Bailey ParadisWell you're right up the top with that one, at least you have a very cool job! What an aircraft that thing is. Being a Britt I love the typhoon, but I haven't even seen an F-22 display in person yet.
+Bailey ParadisNice, what a job that must be. What do you work on? Me too, but I always really liked the F-16 myself. What I wouldn't give for a ride in any fast jet though ;)
+Stefano SandriThat may be kind of true with regards to flying straight and true. But I'm not sure the systems on the F-15E take engine failure into account on the ground, I reckon the pilot made that input.. Maybe somebody who actually knows for sure will chip in.
+stoater Er, yes. Do you seriously believe that the pilot is the reason that these statically unstable aircraft stay in the air? Give your head a shake. These aircraft along with all other statically unstable or marginally stable aircraft fly themselves. The pilot just tells the plane which direction to fly.
"That pilot has the reaction times of a cat, even in slow me he had left rudder applied almost instantly."they probably programmed the jet to do this without pilot input
+Possum Jenkins Wrong. There is very little asymmetrical thrust here because the engines are mounted side-by-side on what is called center-line thrust Its not the same as a normal multi-engine aircraft with engines mounted far apart on each wing. The rudder inputs were a result of the Stab-Aug system (or stability augmentation) and are controlled by pilot inputs but overridden by the computer if it detects a certain desired performance. When the engine failed, the Stab-Aug "thought" there was a desired performance and made the rudders move to give the best control input for a desired performance. When the pilot reduced the thrust the computer "sensed" that thrust was equal and placed the rudders back to neutral. Ref. USAF Flight Manual T.O. 1F-15E-1, page 3-8 Emergencies Engine Failure on Takeoff.
+AwarenessEnhancementThe pilot steers the aircraft on the ground with the rudder pedals which still causes the rudders to move. What you are seeing is the pilot reacting to the asymmetric thrust caused by the loss of power from the right engine which would cause the aircraft to veer to the right. You can see that once he pulls the power back, the rudders go back to their normal position.
