+zman2748 The first game runs fine, but has some fps drops, it's mainly at 60 fps, and sometimes it drops to 40 if there's a big fight (but I finished it with the i3+8gb ram+750ti with the highest settings and x4 MSAA)

+Santiago Santiago.Dude i'm not saying the my cpu is better than an I3, mine is 7 years old!.I'm just trying to make the point that my cpu is not bottlenecking my gpu.If you Google 'Pototype 2 low gpu usage' you will see that low gpu usage is a very common problem with this game.Like i said, people with I-7's and GTX980's were having problems keeping this game at 60fps.There are vids on Youtube where people are running the game worse than you even though they have better cpu/gpu.You have some setting or something that is making you run the game a lot better than many people.

+FutureGaming3000 Yes, I get it, but that's not how it works, each core of the i3 by itself is faster, on your core 2 quad you have less performance per core, this game is a crap port tho (I drop below 60 fps many times)

Even when i use task manager to limit the game to 1 core, it still only uses about 80%.I have no trouble running games like The Witcher 3, Battlefront and Fallout 4 etc, its the reason why i have never upgraded yet, i haven't needed to yet.

+Thomas Osika You could go for an FX 6300 + AMD mobo, maybe you can afford that better, but you would lose the upgrade path the i3 offers. The only inferior intel cpu that comes to mind is the G3258 (no hyperthreading), it's cheaper, but you will have to overclock it a lot to get close to an i3's performance (and some games would struggle due to no hyperthreading) as you can se here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxUPJdcChzE at 3:19 .
