**What are the dangers to electronic equipment (stereos & computers, in
particular) inside the house during ozone treatment?*
And, how can I protect that equipment?**
Mark,An ozone treatment or several are not going to hurt them. O3 is an oxidizer and will corrode various metals. I would imagine over many, many applications to the same area would eventually do damage them. The dosage has a lot to do with it. After about 30 long applications our portable timers go out on our equipment. However none of the wiring, connectors, thermostats, switches or fuses in the machines are ever affected. We've also never killed any electronics in any structure or vehicle. We never put machines directly in front of those objects. I treat my own vehicles quarterly to sanitize them. I know other operators that, out of precaution, remove laptops, cell phones and bag tvs and desktop PCs. Yet most homes have delicate electronics on all the appliances now a days which you cannot cover and they don't die. So, there is little worry. Remove your plants, though. they will definitely bite the dust.
I don't understand why people buy into ozone purifiers/generator machines.
Ozone in itself is HARMFUL to people who breath it in. It's harmful to the
lungs and heart and will cause respiratory issues/inflammation.
This guy has not done any research what-so-ever because if he did, he would
accurately advertise his machines as a "Respiratory Irritation Inducing
Machine". Let alone he does not have any patents or research and
development into the product he is trying to scam, I mean sell.
Is he still alive? I would assume by now he's dead after inhaling all the
toxicity, ozone, and CO3.
jayee,Air, Fire & Water can kill as well as save. We have to have them but not too little or too much. Most negative comments made about ozone is because most people don't do their research. Ignorant "scientists" make ill informed statements against ozone and we tend to believe it and repeat it. Ozone is a lung irritant, but no one has died from ozone machines. Ozone is not regulated by the EPA since ozone cannot be bottled or stored. It works very well on bacteria, viruses and mold, smoke, cooking and pet odors, etc. Ozone is and has been in wide use in industrial settings to purify air, surfaces, water and food. Every lightning bolt in the sky produces ozone and cleanses the air around it. Thats why things smell fresh after a lightning storm. The sun's UV rays produce ozone.Since ozone cant be stored or bottled (like oxygen) it has to be port-ably produced by machines to use as a remediation tool. An area has to be closed up and escape routes closed off to prevent the ozone gas from escaping. No people, pets or plants can be in the area during the process. The machine(s) are run for a specific time period to kill the target organism. There are some other precautions as well, but like anything there is a learning curve. The machines work wonderfully well. This guy's machines are for odor removal & sanitizing. You don't stay in the area while they are being used to oxidize contaminants. If you turn them on for seconds your'e fine. You do not reenter the treated area until the machines are shut off by timers and the Ozone gas is gone; about 2-3 hours. If you reenter with an appropriate respirator, you open windows, turn on fans and its fine in about 20 - 30 minutes. Ozone does not last long, only about 15 minutes and reverts quickly back to oxygen.
@lookimmichael he wore that shirt the hole warped tour. Because he's
promoting his clothing line ship shape. But in an Interview he shows that
he brought like 15 of the same red shirts and washed them when they made
stops. So it may be the same shirt but it's clean every show he wears it.
Plus like I said he brought like 15 of them so.
even though the double bass is going crazy on the video, i'm glad someone
had a good camera in the front row, i give you props for holding it that
still haha, unless your crowd sucked :D
