yeah but those reed valves on discharge shouldnt allow backpressure to
escape back into cylinders... this is not normal. Maybe that valves doesnt
seal properly...
Yes, I ended up bringing it to the dealership and they said it was due to
my O-rings being loose and causing a leak. The leak led to a decrease
pressure in the AC system so it shuts off. They replaced the O-rings,
recharged the AC with cooling agent, and it worked perfectly afterwards.
Didn't cost too much, but charged around $200 bucks. Might be able to get
it done elsewhere for cheaper but I wanted it done right the first time.
Hope this helps!
I see the problem....the title says it is an STI. Get a refund.
2015 Subaru Forester: faulty A/C compressor sound
A/C was weak since the car was new. Just noticed a pronounced grinding noise at around 12000 miles (9/5/2015). Hansel Subaru diagnosed the problem on ...
2001 Subaru Forester AC compressor. (What would cause this?)
Air Conditioning Compressor Weird Noise - 2008 Subaru Forester XT
This doesn't sound normal. The compressor is a lot louder than ones I've heard on my last Forester XT and other Subarus. Could the compressor be going out?
I'm getting the exact same sound on my 2010 wrx when I am engine braking in
gear. It happens for about a few seconds and stops. Happens with the AC on
or off. You figure it out?
