I did purchase an analog to digital conversion system with an input plug adapter and software for this very purpose about 6 months ago,as I have many other older recordings that are of interest but experienced many problems with software conflicts on other programs. What I have done here is play the original recordings onto a TV and then refilm them on my digital camcorder. I then used Corel to edit them. It seems to work out ok and of similar quality i obtained using the conversion system.

Excellent. How did you convert from analog to digital? Do you have a software for that? Or did you send out the old tapes to a company and had them professionally convert them for you? Please enlighten me by PM. I have many travel tapes recorded with my old analog camcorder. If possible I'll convert them too. 5* -- Shoban

Thank you. Yes camcorder connections have to be suitable. And of course thats a more expensive way- but if you already have one then thats fine!

@kimbhut65 :another option is to use a vcr/dvd recorder combo,but make sure it has the necessary input for your camcorder,nice vid btw!
