the Thinso (if you mean the super-lean guy with stretched neck) was first seen in Dev Anand's first movie "Hum Ek Hain". He later acted in Pyaasa as assistant to a small-time publisher who refuses to publish Guru Dutt's poems in the movie. This guy had a super-elastic body and his USP was his funny movements that made him look like a bobbling spring. Nobody knows his name today (even I don't). He's surely dead by now and has remained unnamed and unremembered :(

Kishore da was the real inventor of fun and joy in old hindi movies. Its just Kishore Effect which has lead to thinking over comedy films, otherwise hindi cinema would not have seen comedy films. Thanks 2 Kishore da.
