I'm sure if they gave this up and start talking about "pipeline" to deliver water, we'd still be talking about it 20-30 years from now. It wouldn't be farfetched to expect some other issue to come up then, in a few decades, that people like yourself will say are more important. With that sort of mindset, nothing will never get accomplished. Review any large projects that have been done over the last century around the country, you'll always find opposition. If it's not eyesore, tax, environmental, waste etc...it's always something for whatever reason. This issue has been discussed, rediscussed and approved by voters. So please, can we just move forward and join the rest of the developing world (developed countries already understand the importance of public transport). We're losing our edge
