China's missiles would have to wipe out US carriers or even military bases in Japan and Philippine to ensure its military action.4. the US would have to attack China's military bases in China's coastal cities.5 war escalated, China would use DF-26 missile to attack Guam or even dispatch SSBNs to attack  the US coastal cities in revenge.6. both would launch nuclear tipped ICBMs to nuke each other.I think the US would not dare to do the 4, so China would not do the 5. attacking a nuclear country is too stupid.
